I used to be scared of rollacoasters especially the lauch ones but when I went on furious bacco and red force I realised how fun they are. I was so scared to go on red force and it felt comfidable and didn't feel like I got punched in the chest like Rita and alton towers

i went to portaventure 3 years in a row from 2013-2016, went on shambhala a total of 28 times 😂 i wish ferrari land was open at the time would’ve loved to try out the new rides, but the classics were all great

@TimeWarperr-nq4sbI already think it’s top 3 as I’m happy getting fastrack for such a high quality experience in other areas. If universal takes this park over and improves the themeing on uncharted, RMC’s Stampida, adds a world class dark ride and runs the park like a universal park in terms of operations, policies and food, then I think it could be a contender for best park in the world

"It's not that Stampida was rough or uncomfortable" This is literally the roughest ride Ive ever been on. And it was very, very, very rough

Went to PortAventura in January and got to ride everything in both parks without the fastpass. Got to ride Shambhala almost 10 times, my favorite ride there!

Sorry to hear/see about what happened at this park with the terrible operations and Jesiah’s phone getting destroyed from Stampida, but seems like you guys still had a great time there😃 Hmmm I think I’d definitely really enjoy Dragon Khan as inversions are the elements I love on roller coasters or Shamballa. Furius Baco looks really good as well

I had a real feeling of "there but for the grace of God" when I saw that video. I ended up just barely jamming everything into my zippered jacket pockets, which with Stampida's lapbar was not comfortable.

@@MattMcIrvin Ooof sorry about that. Hopefully they can build places to store loose articles if enough people can come forward and share their experiences. Then again, I’m not sure how they handle these kind of issues at Spanish theme parks. I kinda want to see a video where Marc just rants about this park’s operations and how Universal should probably buy them out. But aside from that, good roller coasters

I visited PortAventura this spring. It was before Uncharted opened, and I was even more time-constrained than you were, so the only coasters I hit were Shambhala, Dragon Khan, Stampida and El Diablo. I thought Dragon Khan would have been a perfect ride if I'd been in my twenties. As it is, it's just a bit... too much. The final corkscrews did me in--I had to have a good long rest after riding it. Shambhala is just a wonder, a nearly perfect hyper. The only thing it lacks is a punchy ending, with that MCBR almost at the end--for that one reason I'd rate it slightly below SFNE's Superman as hypers go. But it has the best first drop I've ever ridden, the theming and aesthetics are beautiful, and the unique "ampersand" turnaround and the speed hill after are terrific. It's definitely the park champ for me, though I didn't ride Red Force or Furius Baco. El Diablo, I thought was a solid family ride. Bear in mind that the only other Arrow Mine Train I've ridden (I don't think Disney's BTMR is one) is Hersheypark's Trailblazer, and it's definitely a cut above Trailblazer. The swooping finale is great. I hear a lot of Europeans describing Stampida as unbearably rough, but I didn't find that at all. It might not be the most intense woodie I've ridden but it was fun. I like that, unlike many racing coasters, it seems to *always* race. My one complaint there is also a warning: there are NO bins on Stampida's platforms for stowing loose articles, so figure out some other strategy before you ride that one.

I remember watching World's Greatest Rollercoaster Thrills in 3-D after I already had the America's version. I remember Dragon Kahn being in that video. I'd like to ride Dragon Kahn someday

I was going to comment on how I pretty much agree with the rankings save for the top 2, but then I remembered how much I vastly prefer coasters like Kingda Ka, TTD, and Formula Rossa in the front row versus any other row, and yeah, I totally get how a front row Red Force can supersede Shambhala.

I found the operations to be excellent. Staff worked fast and all coasters rode on at least 2 trains. I think you just have te be lucky and get there on a calm day.

I dont know if you went in it but the 100 meter drop fall, lemme tell you I have vertigo, and the first time I went on it, the same night I still felt the drop sensation in my mind . Top tier

Just come back from a week long holiday there. Stayed at a hotel so it included access to the park for the full week and 1 day access to ferrari land. If you wanted to go more you could pay €15. Didnt need to buy express passes just worked out the best times to go...in the evening shambala and dragon khan were walk on. Single rider for furious bucco was normally walk on. At times enchanted was only 20 minutes. Did use a fast pass for red force but theres not that many rides in the park so ita doable to do most of the park even with a 2 hour wait for red force i recommend doing the park and getting in red force last

Hello from Spain, Portaventura is my home park and I prefere Shambhala over red Force, and if you like intense lonches, you habe furius baco. Ober all, grate video

You often have coaster opinions that feel roughly close to mine, but your ranking of Shambhala (against the other coasters in its park, and among all B&M hypers) is the biggest discrepancy I can remember. I was blown away by Shambhala and for me it’s a worldwide top ten coaster.

I have visited Port Aventura many years and tomorrow i will be in that Park yes i have rided El Diablo tren de la mina Dragon Khan Furius Baco Stampida and Shambhala but i havent rided Uncharted and Red Force probably i will ride this weekend and yes my favourite rollercoaster of that park is Shambhala i like a lot the view and the skyline and the camelbacks. But i havent visited Ferrari Land this weekend i will visit

Personally every time I go here I’d go in a quiet time end of September And buy fast passes for 2/4 days so can spam many rides and not feel unsatisfied coming away also the unlimited of course Even if ques are short as 20/40 id stil get fast passes thats just me and 1000% on busy days If your only going here for a few days I’d suggest spending the extra on fast passes

Well i did it last year so the newest one is unfamiliar for me and since i basicly hate this park for its policy's (no operations can be this bad without it being intentional. Coupled with the riduculus amount of people they let in and often exclusivly gets you front row with a fast pass.) i don't think i will ride it any time soon. Having said that if you never been there you really need to go its really a very beautifull park with some nice coasters. 1 Shamballa (they had a very short single riders lane so i enjoyed a few good rides on this one). 2 Dragon Khann ( i had some really good rides and some rough ones i think it was the different trains. Also except for the fast lane passes the operations here where decent.) 3 red force (these coasters are just a one trick pony for me but i have to admit a very nice one). 4 furious backache, them that thing was so rough in the back its wasn't much fun and i wasn't going to stand inline for another 2 hours. Still a better coaster then the avarge filler. 5 the rest aren't really good enough to rank.

Red Force does look great, and is one of my top bucket list coasters in Europe, along with Ride to Happiness, Taiga, Batman Gotham City Escape, Hyperion and F.L.Y.. While Shambhala seems like a really good coaster, I love the fact that you prefer Goliath at SFOG over it. As I've mentioned before, Goliath is my favorite B&M hyper as well. I was able to get quite a few rides on it just last week since it was a walk-on the whole time I was at the park.

I am a little disappointed that they went with Intamin instead of vekoma for uncharted. Imagine if it was something like guardians of the galaxy cosmic rewind. It would have much more theming opportunities and have a much better layout.

Interesting, I prefer Shambhala over Red Force, but I enjoy Furious Baco as well! I haven't ridden Uncharted yet, but will do so next year most likely.

I live in Spain and I really agree with you . Though I would prefer if Red force had a Hydraulic launch . It’ll add some extra spice on it :) Uncharted is a decent indoor coaster but I don’t think it’s worth waiting 1h+ Keep up the good work!🎉🎉

@TimeWarperr-nq4sb You have now, i happen to agree with you but then i'm not that impressed by that kind of coasters. If the cue is short enough they are loads of fun but its essential just a launch and a drop. Now if they had some ride in it after that they would move up a lot for me.

Red Force did nothing for me... the LSM launch is unimpressive compared to Furius Baco and you don't even feel the drop because of the speed

While we seem to heavily disagree Furious Baco a front row ride on Red Force is like nothing else I've ever experienced. It's my far and away number one after my visit this year, sorry Nemesis.
