I absolutely hate how Maggie went out that way. Susan Sullivan's Maggie on Falcon Crest is one of the best characters of any. Also, Pamela Bellwood's death on Dynasty as Claudia is very tragic, yet epic.
@LBF522 Жыл бұрын
She drowned just like Chase did.

Even when it aired, I felt that Maggie's was one of the more original soap deaths. It was so ordinary, diving in to get her kids' toys and then getting her ring caught on the drain. Unlike most over-the-top soap deaths, it was such an everyday thing, and that's what makes it hit as hard as it still does. Could happen to any of us - unlike being blown away by a terrorist or crushed in a trash compactor.

That was the last episode I ever watched! Made me sick. I know Susan Sullivan was ready to leave FC but they couldn't find any other way? Just plain morbid!

Digger Barnes' death was a mix of sadness and redemption. He saved his one time friend Jock from life in prison. Instead of dying a pitiful death of a drunk, he was remembered well by Jock & Ellie at the end of the episode.

Seeing Laura leaving video tape messages meant she already died at that clinic she wanted to go to and die alone. That was so sad it lead me to cry over and over again. No new character on Knots Landing could ever take Laura's place. Good - Bye Laura you will always be loved.

Laura's death hit me very hard. I stopped watching Knots Landing after Constance McCashin was fired from Knots Landing. She had very little to do while on the show. Constance was treated very unfairly, something that upset me to the point of losing interest in the show.

Knots Landing had 3 deaths that hit me very hard. When Ciji Dunne was killed by Chip I couldn't stop crying. I really love Lisa Hartman as Ciji Dunne. Fortunately I was not alone, and Lisa Hartman returned as a Ciji Dunne look a like name Cathy Geary. The first letter of each name C G is short for Ciji. The second death that hit me hard was the passing of Laura Avery played by the great Constance McCashin. Laura died of cancer. Miss. McCashin was written out of the show, news that did not sit well with me. I stopped watching Knots Landing after Constance McCashin was let go from the show. The 3th death that hit me hard was Sid Fairgate car going off of a cliff. Sid played by Don Murray died of his injuries. Knots Landing deaths hit me the hardest of all the night time soaps

I didn't watch these things. I usually tried to watch cliffhangers if anything, then realized that was a waste of time, but I did watch that earthquake on Falcon Crest and the two people killed were bit characters who were essentially slated to go with a season, if deemed necessary, and that was all Dwayne was, so it really doesn't say a lot about these primetime soaps in gteneral if Dwayne's death on Falcon Crest is in the top ten. I remember noticing his face was obscured and so was the woman David Selby was involved with, which was as about as cheap as, they never found the body.
