John Marston was one of the first deaths that made my actually cry. It was just so devastating after such a long journey for his family to have it end that way. Gears of War used to be such a powerful franchise. I remember how Dom changed from seeing the women he loved turned to a husk on top of how many of their freinds dying over the course of the war- but to see him close his eyes and how Marcus just started yelling for his only real friend....made me tear up as a kid and still makes me tear up as an adult
