Dr. Facilier's friends on the other side have always creeped me out. especially that scene where they come to collect their debt from him and drag him into the afterlife.

Maleficent's proclamation sends shivers down my spine too, as well as when she has Aurora in a trance. The music and suspense in that scene are so well done.

for me its either pink elephants on parade or the tyrannosaurus in Fantasia, but not even the fight, just the lead up to it, his appearance, and all the animals running for their lives as he tries to pick who to eat. Or the coachman when he does the creepy thing with his eyes.

The wolf attack scene in Beauty and the Beast always freaked me out as a kid. Honestly, so did the west wing. They really captured the tension in both of those moments, especially coming right after another. There was a long time that I had to fast forward through the wolf scene to the recovery scene.

Alice in Wonderland was a horror movie for me when I was a child. Being in a world where all the adults are crazy scared me as hell. And the part where oysters are despicted as little girls that are eaten by the walrus was just horrible.

I only discovered your channel long after Halloween, but in my top scary moments I would totally include some from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, especially those including Frollo - the entire prologue, when he lures out of the shadows on his black horse, Quasimodo's mother chase and murder, a murder attempt on a BABY, and the faces of cathedral's figures. Jeepers! Also the whole Hellfire sequence, his decision to burn a house with a whole family inside, his readiness to burn Esmeralda on a pyre, and finally his death scene... Man, Frollo is the king of evil, and he even doesn't possess any magical abilities - but that is maybe what makes him even scarrier.

Happy Halloween! You did pick very scary moments from Disney. I would have to pick 'Man' Hunts. I fear for Bambi and his mother's life to this very day. When that fatal shot is delivered, I can imagine Bambi's mom falling down and then motionlessly staying still. She saved her son's life but at what cost? 😢😞

The most scary moment in Disney animation by far is the entirety of Dinosaur. But in all seriousness it's the pleasure island sequence. I used to be terrified of that. *chills*

Another chilling Maleficent scene is when she lured Aurora into the fireplace/secret passage. If you listen to the music carefully you can hear her calling out, “Aurora!” Creepy? Yes.

Happy Haloween !!! I would say that the most scary would be Pleasure Island, Man Hunts, Night on Bald Moutain, the headless horseman. There is also not really scary moments but more disturbing imo, such as Pink Elephants on parade or the finale of The Great Mouse Detective However, if there is one Disney/Pixar movie that traumatized me, it's definitively Finding Nemo. Between the sharks, that one fish in the abyss, the giant whale or the giant faceless man catching Nemo...pure nightmare fuel for little me. Plus, the jellyfish scene was so unnerving and disturbing to watch to me that I still skip it everytime now(probably the claustrophobic feeling as well as the unnerving pink color, plus the toxicity of the animal)
@thetroveyoutube2 жыл бұрын
I never think of Finding Nemo as a frightening movie, but all those scenes you listed are pretty disturbing! The open ocean is terrifying.

Interestingly, John Musker (who went on to direct and/or write several Disney films) worked on the Black Cauldron, but was removed from the project because his scenes were too comedic. In test audiences, the film terrified kids, and probably explains why Disney likes to include humor even in their serious works.

Woody’s Nightmare from Toy Story 2 is the Scariest Pixar Scene even more than Toy Story 3’s Incinerator Scene at least for me!
@srstriker64202 жыл бұрын
Well some of those I agree with but I had a few more like the Chase scene in Oliver and company, the Hat army from Meet the Robinsons and the Bear from the Fox and the Hound which did inspire Don Bluth to make Sharptooth the T-Rex from the Land Before Time. Also do you think that Gaston killed Bambi’s mum? What about the Nightmare before Christmas is it a Halloween movie or Christmas movie or is it both?
@thetroveyoutube2 жыл бұрын
I didn't know that the bear inspired the T-Rex, that's cool! I've never thought about Gaston being the hunter in Bambi, but that's a fun theory. Personally I view The Nightmare Before Christmas as a Halloween movie, but it can certainly serve as a film for both holidays. I usually like to watch it on Halloween as a transition into the end of the year.
@srstriker64202 жыл бұрын
@@thetroveyoutube yeah because I guess you haven’t seen any of Disney fan theories like for example Jafar is the real hero of Aladdin? I guess you didn’t know that Don Bluth was going to make his own version of Beauty and the Beast before Disney beat him to it and I think that the Sharptooth was originally going to speak and be voiced by the guy who voices Mr Burns, Ned Flanders etc from the Simpsons.
