Love this video and love you guys! Please do a Part 2. There are so many more stories to tell. Like how Alton is considered one of the most haunted cities in America. Or the ghosts of the old French forts & settlements. And I live in a town called Collinsville, where we have the legend of the Seven Gates of Hell & Acid Bridge. Please consider these for a Part 2!!

I used to live a hour west of Chicago and the town was called Rockford and we had a local legend The Draco A black shadowed animal that walks on two legs and I never seen it. but my grandpa said he did He went blind after this experience and he told me this "We and your uncle were fishin and then I did saw this dark thing on the other side of the lake and I started to make noises like Whacuue over and over and again and again then it jumped into the water and your uncle was asleep I didn't wake him I looked over the edge of the boat and I saw this things teeth and eyes then everything went blurry and..." He usually starts sobbing and crying after this part My uncle asleep the whole time

I'm surprised munger road wasn't on here, that one's really popular and was made into a movie. The legend is that a school bus of children was hit by a train when it got stuck on the tracks and killed everyone inside. Supposedly, if you visit Munger Road and put baby powder on your bumpers and sit on the track in neutral, the spirits of the children will push your car to safety and you can see their handprints in the powder. Also, Hotel Baker is infamous around here for being extremely haunted and has a legend attached to it as well.

I live in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, home of the University of Illinois and the Fighting Illini. There are quite a few legends most of which focus on the U of I campus, but there is one particular story that stands out. The story of the "Blue Man" it is said that 1841 early pioneer settlers found a man hanging from tree near a road that went by a rural cemetery. The man's identity or the circumstances of his demise remain a mystery. but his ghost has been seen at night walking the road and old cemetery grounds holding a lantern. He gets the name "Blue Man" because of the translucent blue glow that surrounds him.

I'm from Cherry Valley/Rockford. I know Bloods Point Rd. It's more like two hours from Chicago (depending on where you're at, I suppose). I've known about that road all my life and never heard of a single person seeing/having something happen. The land where the Walmart sits on State Street is used to be a huge cornfield as well as the corner of Newburg and Bell School, now a Casey's and a corporate building, both owned by the same guy. His land was supposed to be haunted.
