Coming from a native Mainer, you have done Vacationland a spooktacular honor. However, moose have antlers.😉 Northern Maine (Aroostook County) is the place for the real creepiness. The former Loring AFB is the place of reported UFO sightings. The Allagash Wilderness Waterway is home to legendary UFO abductions and lost military helicopters. It's believed the builders of the Money Pit of Oak Island hid more treasure among the endless forests. Viking artifacts and messages have been discovered across the region. The scenery is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and Bigfoot makes a mean mooseburger on an open fire grill.

You should do another one about Maine, you had some stories that even I didn't know (I live in Maine) but you missed some too, like Strand Cinema in Skowhegan. It's haunted by the ghost of a man that has been seen by many people before, after and even during a movie. Unfortunately the Strand Cinema was renovated in, somewhat, recent years so this may have affected the hauntings but I haven't been there in a while so I'm not sure. Also yes, more people should visit Maine but not just for the clam chowder (try living here when you DON'T like seafood, it's not as fun), there's also lobster and… Well actually that's kind of it for Maine dishes I guess but we do have an abundance of woods, there's probably at least twice as many trees as people. We need more people so please make more videos about Maine so that others don't forget we exist. Seriously we have towns with just over 500 people, it's kind of sad and a lot of boring.

i remember this because this was really scary to me... when i was 8 i got into trouble and i got sent to my room, but i was scared of my room because i heard things in there but i was still forced to go in my room, i was fine for like a minute then i saw something just floating in my bathroom and i was too scared to scream or even move. It was just floating there for like 2 minutes but it felt like forever my grandma walked in and i had tears from crying and she asked if i was okay and i pointed to the bathroom. she said there was nothing there and i mumbled there was a tall black figure with bright eyes and a huge smile floating staring at me. She didn't believe me and she carried me out of my room and sat me on the couch. The couch had a little opening at the bottom like a cat or something could fit in it. and i was always scared to let my feet hang off the couch but i couldn't stop thinking about what happened and my grandma was trying to talk to me about being good and when she left to go to the bathroom i felt something grab my foot and when she got back i was screaming and crying and she looked down at my foot and there was a bloody hand print.

I live in Maine. I worked at a boarding school and theirs a road that is known for having a black widow that travels up and down this hilly road. The house that this boarding school is in was built I believe in the 1800s. Anyways I was sitting on the porch while everyone was out on an outing. I tidied up and put the guitar on it’s stand. I walked back out I heard the guitar play. I went back into the living room and the guitar was laying on its side unhooked from the stand. Wessie took place in Westbrook Maine and it terrified EVERYONE. I live nearby. USM gorham campus is also haunted in “dickie towers” I’ve known people who have had encounters within the towers.
