spongebob isn't immortal: In season 4, the death scene in the movie that came out (where they did come back to life) spongebob and Patrick dry up, they do however, come back to life after singing the goofy goober song. *supposedly* (fun fact: sponges don't need a mate to reproduce, they can reproduce in split seconds without a partner) So, when Spongebob died, his son took his place. (ever wonder why starting in season 5, spongebob got stupider? well thats because he wasn't spongebob, that's his son!) Plankton is in on this, being an 'evil genius' he scoped out on the secret, that is why Spongebob's son is used as the root to getting the secret formula quite a bit, because he is a kid! (also plankton calls him kid quite often) That's my theory! Like if you think this is true, or if you think it is just a stupid opinion. (but now try to watch a season 5 episode with this theory in your head!) Lemme know what you think!
