Not the same area I'm pretty sure, I honestly don't remember where I was exactly, but it was somewhere in WV near (in WV standard of near) VA when my dad and I were on one of our long point and go country drives when I was a kid. I heard music playing on what seemed like a gramophone. It was coming from the woods on the side of the road. It was a beautiful summer day and I had my window down. I asked my dad if he heard it and he didn't so I hummed the tune for him. He looked completely shocked and said that sounded like a Patsy Cline song. Apparently, wherever we were wasn't too far from from the wv/va state border around Winchester, which is where she is from. To my knowledge, I had never heard her music before, but I liked it. It was definitely calming and fit the beautiful summer day so well.

I live 10 minutes from point pleasant, my cousin runs the “mothman museum” and I’ve spent a lot of time in the TNT munitions land. Still extremely creepy through the night in that area, but that might be because of my families stories. The other part to the story is that she pulls your car uphill when you park it, but that's an optical illusion. everything around that specific spot on the road is tilted upward, so it looks like your car is level, but it's actually on about a 3 or 4 degree tilt backwards. Mamie is real though, and I'm very glad she doesn't do any harm.

That's not the legend of the bunny man. Two inmates were being transported to maximum security when the bus crashed, and they escaped into the woods. When the police searched for them, they keep finding skinned and gutted rabbits hanging from trees. Eventually the found one of the inmates, skinned and gutted like the rabbits and I forgot the rest of the story.
