It's not "hidden", but my favorite scene with Mordin is if you talk to him enough, he thinks you are interested in him and he politely lets you down saying something in the vein of "Never been with human. If I was going to, would try with you though." I believe he says it for both female and male Shepard. Also, I don't know if it is considered hidden (but I didn't know about it for the longest time either because I over looked it, or because the scene bugged out) but another favorite of mine is in the first ME with Ashley and Kaiden in the Wards on the Citadel. When you guys talk about the Citadel, it leads to one of them accidentally letting it slip they are interested in you and the other pokes fun at them.

If you want a scene nobody has seen, go with the full Paragon interaction with the reporter, where Shep always answers questions positively. She gets nice in the 3rd game as a result. I did a whole playthrough just to test this, and resisting the urge to smack her was one of the hardest things I've ever done in a game. Much harder than ME3 on insanity.

In James's defense the books reveal he has idolized you for basically his entire career, wanted to be N7 because of you, based his career trajectory on trying to be you etc. And you have a mentor kinda role, so I imagine it's probably REALLY weird for him even before the supervisor thing and all that.

They really messed up in providing so much lore, some of which is fairly important, in peripheral media.

In addition, there is a heavy degree of disdain which is involuntarily and unavoidably coincidental after the events in Paragon Lost. TL;DR - Shepard inadvertently crushes Vega's mind. SPOILERS in case you haven't seen the film and plan to, but Vega has to choose between saving his last remaining companion who hasn't been slaughtered by the Collectors Treeya, who is carrying vital intelligence about the Collector attacks, or the colonists, which included a little girl that he promised he would rescue. He chooses to save Treeya, and is promoted and rewarded for his choice by becoming N7, but he is practically almost broken mentally. Then, a very short time after this sadistic choice, it turns out Shepard and their crew have destroyed the Collectors independently from the Alliance shortly after the events of this movie, rendering the intel Vega gathered useless, and all the lives lost from his friends and the colonists were slaughtered for no reason. Safe to say he does not blame Shepard for being unaware of the effect it had on James, after all it was better off that the Collectors were dealt with, however had Shepard still been working with the Alliance and defected from Cerberus sooner, perhaps James would have been more up to date with the overall campaign.

Another thing to keep in mind during the conversation between Mordin and Joker about advice on how to get it on with EDI: EDI is aware. She *is* the ship after all. She's got access to *all* the systems, including the coms. So yes, Joker. You can't hide anything from your girl on this ship, for your girl *is* the ship.

Also gives suggestions to shepard, the most hilarious being the "do not ingest" when female shepard romances garrus. In the other hand, even if try to romance Mordin, he will say he won't.. if he was younger and was to try humans, he's try Shepard.

I never quite got the Morinth romance. At least the plan behind it. Sure, Morinth does her thing but isn't she supposed to be the most intelligent of Samara's daughters? Did she honestly think she would get off the Normandy alive after killing Shepard? Even if she did something to limit EDI's sensors, surely somebody would have wondered where Shepard went after nobody has seen them for a few days? While I have no doubt she could shred through the minor characters and crew, that deck alone has Thane, Miranda, Kasumi, Garrus, and Legion on it if she did actually start something not to mention the need to get by Jack, Grunt, and Tali if she does win to get to the shuttles. Just seems kinda dumb on her part to me to do that in the middle of the Normandy.

Also more tips about Mordin and the suicide mission: Don't let him hold back the collectors with the rest while you go fight the human reaper. He'll only die in the end. Always have him escort the Normandy crew or have him in your squad in the finale.

I choose garrus to lead and take thane and miranda to the boss, send kasumi to normandy, he never died in my play through, one.time i had died member was long time ago because i take garrus and grunt to the boss (its fatal mistake, grunt have the strongest defense) but still no dead mordin...

him and i believe kasumi are most likely to die in that scene, so if you have the dlc/LE they are interchangable, otherwise send him back/bring em with you (dont quote me but if you do all the loyalties + a decent squad leader[my boi garrus] no-one should die).

You can also keep him alive, if you send him back with the ships crew. Fun fact: Everytime, I went to the final boss fight, I took Miranda in my Squad - at least in my paragon playthrough. Just to see the scene, when Miranda quits at Cerberus, when you're about to destroy the reaper + Collector base.

That's not a guarantee - he has a low survival rate, but if Grunt, Zaeed, and Garrus are around and loyal they can quite easily protect the rest.

So my favourite scene ever is when I tried to do a fully renegade playthrough, I got to ME3 when Mordin is curing the genophange. In order to stop him and gain the loyalty of the Salarians you have to use a renegade option to shoot him. I couldn't do it, I was playing through for the single purpose of playing renegade and the scene plays out amazing if you are full renegade and then can't pull the trigger. It's like a redemption moment for a renegade shepard.

One of my favorite items that most people don't get is recruiting Liara after Virmire in the first game. It's absolutely hilarious. First she's absolutely loopy from being down there so long that she things you are a hallucination and talks to you as such. After you get her aboard the ship, she starts to speculate about things and the crew begins to hilariously tell her all the answers to her speculations because they've seen it. Also a minor not usually seen thing is that you don't have to recruit Garrus in the first game. If you do this, and then not recruit Liara before Virmire, then the dialogue with Wrex on the beach automattically succeeds without need of getting the family armor or passing a diplomacy check. Not really an unseen thing though, because it just defaults to the dialogue as if you got the family armor.

I haven't done a full playthrough with this concept yet, but last playthrough of ME1, I forgot to speak to the reporter as soon as the interview was offered. After having done the Feros mission already, the interview was longer and she specifically referenced the colony and the effects your mission had on it. Next playthrough, I'll wait until the end, to see if I can get interviewed by her just before stealing the Normandy.

In several play throughs where I am waiting for Kaidan or Ashley, he has given me the whole talk and I - graciously, of course - except him letting me down easy.

I knew all of this probaly because i played ME at least know 50 times. Some rare scenes are Mordin singing in ME2 and ME3, Zaeed Meeting Tarakh in Garrus recruting Mission, Liara knews Jacks real name, the are 2 salarins at Omega with the a sidequest Jacob and Miranda have a different conversation then the others when you meet these 2. Krogans could go extinct in ME3 if you choose the right choises for that.

i guess i got in my first playthrough all the painful scenes you included like jacks death(didnt know that was sth i cant do later; nor did i know that jack would be there), mordins death(thought his military operation past would help), and grunt got to go in the plague zone. but at least i got sth not that bad: i went with grunt to the archangel mission(cause i didnt know who was hiding behind that `archangel`)

Mordins songs are based on real songs: First one is taken from "I am the very model of a modern major general" and the second one is taken from "I'm a pirate King" of course he converts them into "I'm a very modest scientist salarian" and "She is a Krogan Queen" which he sings to Eve in ME3

Also, if you have a standoff with Mordin in the tower and decide to shoot him with your gun no matter what gun you have it will always show up as the Carnifax gun that he gives you when you first meet. If you talk to Kasumi, she warn's you about Morinths real intention. Dam, she probably knows all, my shepard tried on the ship. No secrets about the varren STG either... . At least I closed the mating cycle of good old ME2 were you could get them all traditionally with tali. To give her everything she missed all those years.

As grim and monotone as she was,Samara was honestly one of my favorite companions in the last 2 ME games and if you mess up the Monastery QTE you lose a badass biotic who wont bitch at your life choices like a certain L2 user

My brother thought I was insane and boring myself because I'm such a 100% completionist of every quest and every dialogue and every collective in this series ME1 is the shortest and can be completed relatively quickly if you ignore most side quests and planets, but if you do virtually everything possible in one playthrough; every sidequest, every mineral deposit, turian insignia, matriarch writing, dialogue option and all dlc etc and on hard difficulty it can take up 51hrs Same goes with ME2. I did ALL the scanning, all the quests, side jobs, collectibles optional missions I milked out every last piece of dialogue for every conversation and followed up on hidden quests until Ive done pretty much I could plausibly possibly do in one playthrough Happens again the ME3, and I just loved the callbacks to ME1 and 2, and that even insignificant little actions, options or dialogue choices were taken into account, so you can get anything from outright war assets, new dialogue or action opportunities, or it could simply just be another piece of immersion to the story, and I'll do so much to get these secrets and interactions In my last trilogy playthrough, I had conrad Verner alive due to paragon dialogue in ME3, and this becomes one of the most bloated troll callback reward if you fulfilled his quest line so thoroughly and completley by getting a ludicrous amount of requisites, the game doesn't tell you that you need to meet, and if you somehow do all this and your reward is a minuscule war asset in the form of his dissertation on xenobiologie. I missed one requisite at the very, very end of the checklist and a got a 1% war asset. In my first playthrough, I never bothered buying any of the weapons and shop licenses, and frustratingly, that Elkoss combine license was the ONE thing out of all the other requisites that I didn't have, and so my reward went down Now I'm replaying the trilogy again, I didn't want to replay me1 at first because it took so long to do everything all over again and wanted to jump into me2 But that one fcking Elkoss license that probably won't even add up more to the asset score, was bugging me so much. I wasn't fond on going back to change it due to how tedious the game can be, so I make one perfectly playthrough as a game state to import to ME2. Every time I want to play THe license thing was the worst and I missed just a few smaller gamestate choices that are super minor in fairness I was dumb and couldn't get the Harkin and Garrus dialogue, as I did the recruit quest for Rex before recruiting Garrus which negates his mission, and on the second time round, I didn't realize you had to talk to Harkin to find Garrus; not collect him or bring him over. So annoying to mess I up a second becase Harkin won't talk to us at all now, and there's no extra dialogue in ME2

I have never seen the ones with Garus & Grunt on Omega, tho I usually go get Zaeed & Kasumi first. Have you seen the ones in ME2 where you get Kal Reeger & the other Quarian you saved on Freedom's progress to stand up for Tali during her loyalty mission? You can choose that option whether or not you have the paragon/renegade options to get the "better" outcomes. You can save her loyalty & membership in the fleet that way.

Only on my fourth playthrough am I realising how great Grunt is. He's a treasure. I took Garrus on the plague mission first time. I died by Ardart-Yakshi on both Renegade runs I've only had one go at the Citadel DLC, and all I got was Javik I don't know if I could ever let that happen to Jack I brought Jack on Miranda's loyalty mission for the exact reasons I shouldnt I had no idea you could get floored by Al-Jilanni I don't think I've spent enough time with Legion to have gotten the Calibration conversation myself I've never seen Mordin hold the line, its touching Mordin "helping" is a key part of any campaign, especially helping joker I used guided missiles on defenceless herbivores, that's about all its good for

If you are always nice to Conrad (you may have to use a mod to make it work properly), the wrap up of his story in ME3 is fantastic and funny. I really enjoyed it.

​@@Dantics without mods its impossible to get the paragon scene in me2 due to an issue with the import. you can edit the me1 save to say you were nice to conrad and then get that scene. also, in my original playthough, he died so i never got to see him in me3. and so long as you are nice to him in both 1 and 2, you get the wrap up in 3!

I enjoy EDI's jokes the best, always followed by her deadpan "that was a joke", or the time Joker did that line for her. Favorite of them all is when she tells Shepard that she sometimes gets distracted and forgets to cycle the Normandy's oxygen supply and Shepard gets this OMG look on his face and backs away.

if you don't romance anyone in ME2 and still go by the med bay pretty often to talk to Mordin, instead of the sexual advice, he will have a dialogue where he tells you that he understand that you are attracked to him but salarian doesn't have any sexual drive so he is not interested xD he also tells you that if he ever wanted to try a human he will come to you . and he says this with both BroShep and FemShep. I experienced this with BroShep and it was hilarious xD I even told him "thank you for letting me doen gently" ahaha
