Vinland saga hit the hardest for me. I got my first volume at a half price books for 5 bucks and have been buying them at retail in rapid succession since I read it! Got my hands on vagabond finally so that was nice but I’m excited to get into that! I’m only 2 books deep into blade of the immortal but I’m tempted to sell them and get the deluxe!

BLAME! Is such a good manga, havent heard THAT many people talk about but its so good but i wouldn’t recommend it to everyone its less dialogue heavy and very much left up to the reader to figure out a bit but still would recommend it

Many great recommendations! I think I should try Kaiji one day. I hear great things about the title and the artstyle is quite quirky. A couple of decades ago, I was lucky to visit the office of Afternoon Magazine in Tokyo and have an interview with Tsutomu Nihei's and Tsuruta Kenji's editor. He showed me some original drawings of Blame (and Abenobashi Shopping District, IIRC). I remember having been quite impressed by Nihei's detailed artwork. This reminds me that I should add more volumes of Blame and other good seinen manga to my collection.

@@Weeabruh Personally, I was never able to get in Pluto. I read like 1.5 volumes or so and felt no desire to continue reading, but then again, I´m not into sci-fi in the first place. I also find Naoki Urasawa's art style quite rough, which isn't a big issue for me but it's not the type of art style I usually go for. Care to give any realistic manga recommendations?

It's pronounced like Blam, as it guns shooting. Also Vertical is by far the best manga publisher in the US. I have most of the Tokyo Pop series. The mangaka also did a lot of other stuff like Biomega.

Vinland Saga quickly became my favourite manga of all time. Everyone really needs to give it a shot. I gave up on it at first because I wasn't interested in vikings or whatever... but its so worth it.

I saw DevilMan Volume 1 of the classic collection had to get it sadly didnt see volume 2 of it but I did ordered volume 2 I have read all of punpun my friend lent me it I read all of it and loved it might need to cop some of punpun but for now its not a must for because I already read all of it but ill probably buy it when I feel like I wanna reread it again sometime one of the best mangas ever made it is depressing at times but still a great manga anyway love the video and cant wait for the next one

I love kaiji, follow it on a weekly basis. But I don't recommend collecting it. It's like 70+ volumes and still ongoing. Story is great but the art is... But if you're rich by all means.

There are some pretty good new Seinen out there, its just none of them get printed in English. Some of them get printed in Spanish and French which I pick up in my manga hauls if you want some more lesser known heat. But all in all I think newer stuff is not as good as the classics.

Yeah with Kaiji I feel one of the reasons why some people are put off by it ( as well as other Fukumoto's works) you have to pay attention when reading! Lol, it was the reason why I couldn't get in to it at first the anime anyway, the manga was easier for me cause I could at my own pace, hvl manga had the same problem god bless her😅 hell it happened to me when reading G2K with the political stuff 😆 So I'm hoping stuff like Kurosawa & Buriden Gui to picked up in english soon🤞 But great vid as always dude, hopefully if Blue lock does well we may get Jagaaan🤞
