The Theorem is undoubtedly my favorite ball. For a simple fresh house shot in league, it packs more than enough punch to get to the pocket and usually I can make it all the way through to game 3 before switching to urethane or the Sensor Solid. Saves space in my bag also from carrying a high performance ball that’s only useful for one game

I'm not surprised the BW 2.0 hybrid still sold well this year. That was my ball of the year 2023. It's just so violent off the spot. I love it.

GB5 was by far my favorite ball of the year and slowly creeping into my favorite ball of all time. I liked it so much that I bought two of them. Haven't used the Mesmerize much, but on the rare occasion I've needed a ball with its strength, I've been impressed with the results of it. The 78D has been a great ball for me as well. It's been a life safer for me on short patterns in high friction houses. I personally was not a fan of the Blue Hammer. But the purple hammer, I have two of them in the bag. I hated throwing urethane until I got my first one. It's also been a great ball to jump too for me, when the black starts getting a bit lazy off the spot.

I have the Stealth Solid/Pearl and almost everyone at my pro shop including regional guys said the Hybrid was just OK. The previous 2 were way better.

Not surprised the BW 3.0 got the top spot. It’s annoying how many people throw them. I have to look at finger and thumb plug colors to make sure I grab the right ball. The ball is a beast.

Over the last few years, Hammer has had the best stuff on the market. It's hard to beat the Black Widows, Envy Tours, etc.

I am not surprised by the 1 & 2 spots. The Widow and Effect have gotten lots of use from me. Effect won me $800 at Nationals in Vegas. However lanes at center I bowl in changed Effect hasn’t been as effective still love it. Widow 3.0 is always in the bag.

​@@brunsnick I'm not a marketing person by trade but here's my unqualified opinions. I think fewer releases would be helpful so each brand doesn't have to fight for oxygen against other B7 balls with similar design intent. A stronger effort at brand identity that gives each company a specialty. DV8 seems to be learning towards specializing in equipment that offers more options for two handers, for instance. More consistent information for each release. Some balls seems to get orphaned and rely entirely on influencer promotion, while others get full teaser videos, endorsement interviews from PBA Pros, and detailed technology breakdowns with slicker production value. I don't want to write a book, but the level of effort isn't consistent across the board and reinforces established opinions about the relevance of each brand label.

I have multiple on this list, but I'm surprised that the Scorpion Strike didn't make it, although the Low Flare did. I guess you could definitely make an argument that the LF is more versatile, but man... I love the Scorpion Strike. It's my favorite ball right now, and it's such a good ball, for the money, in my opinion.

How well did Radicals The Spy perform in sales when it first came out (and after)? I know it came out years ago, but for bowlers with a lower ball speed (and older bowlers), it really opened up possibilities for us(I'm not old, but I am still learning to generate ball speed).

Love my GB5, Effect, Theorem, and Purple hammer. But, I feel the Radical Conspiracy HK22 and Big Bite were 2 sleeper balls of 2024. NU Rattler definitely should be up there too.

I thought about getting a GB5. But it wasn’t at my pro shops ball demo at the beginning of December. I found a couple I liked but the one I loved the most was the Hammer Effect Tour. As soon as I threw a few shots I knew I found my next ball. I have been throwing a DV8 Hellcat and a Brunswick Melee Jab Midnight Blue. Love them both. I will always go to the ball demo because I get to figure out what I like. I tried a GB3 or GB4 a few years ago at the ball demo so I think I’d like the GB5 when I want to start replacing older balls. My dad is even building me a ball rack because I’ll probably buy one or two more in the future. Sorry for the long comment. I like to bowl and really don’t have anyone to talk to about it really. Also I finally got my dad to go to the demo and he won a super cuda powercor! I was so happy for him because I’ve been trying to get him to get a new ball for 5 or so years. He just doesn’t want to spend the $200. I almost bought him one in the summer.

I would have thought the Envy Tour would have still sold well in 2024. For the first 10 months of the year, it was still the most current “Tour” ball from Hammer. I see a decent amount of them in my leagues.

For me, the Pure Envy was a real disappointment. Maybe it was the way my PSO drilled it at 25x5x25, maybe not. I'm not sure. But it wasn't fun. The Track Archetype Hybrid would be number one, to me. The Effect, Theorem, Archetype Solid, Stealth series, Cypher, and Intense Mindset would be up there, too.
