I just re-discovered Percival by Parfums de Marly after 2 years, and it is now my favorite fresh fragrance. I thought it was not something special when I tried it for the first time with the discovery set, but I re-sampled it 3 days ago, and I am amazed. It smells SO GOOD and it projects like a beast. Longevity is +8 hours. I finished up a 5 mL sample in 3 days and I already got 2 compliments. I am definitely going to buy a full bottle. It smells like A&F Fierce, Platinum Egoiste, Bleu de Chanel all mixed up. The opening is fresh but the dry down is ambery sweet.

To me the NR Bleu Noir EDP smells exactly like a mixture of Cartier Declaration and Azzaro Chrome. In fact wrote about that earlier today both in Fragrantica and Parfumo. So that means, it has a cumin vibe (like the Cartier,) watch out for that. In any case, high chances anyone who likes Declaration and/or Chrome will like Blue Noir. And viceversa, if you like Bleu Noir EDP, check out Declaration, and Chrome.

Bleu Noir is a really great scent. Glad you pick it at No. 1., because its probably underrated in the Community right now. Great choice 👍 Personally i layer it with Molecule O2 😉

Sadly, for me, Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir EDP only lasts 2-3hrs on my skin, then seems to vanish. Not sure if I have a faulty batch bottle or it's just my skin chemistry, but when I can smell it, yes, it's amazing.

Such a refreshingly FRESH list. We have high temperatures in summer in our country so fresh fragrances are required 6 months a year. Sedley and Cedrat Boise (or any other variant/take on Aventus) definitely strong options. Initio's Rehab (Spicebomb's niche brother) may work for some, Goldfield & Banks also got summer cornerstones like Bohemian Lime & Pacific Rock Moss.

My favorite fresh fragrance is Davidoff Cool Water Intense but is difficult to get. Maybe is discontinued. Another good one is Bulgari Aqua Atlantique. The best Fresh and Sweet together fragrance is Versace Eros edt. That along with Stronger With You, are my signature fragrances. BTW could you review Halloween Man X?

Hi there, warm regards from Costa Rica. In my country not every scent is successful because of the weather, which is humid, hot and sunny all year long. That has made me a scent collector and linked only to the fresh, versatile and long lasting type of fragances. Because of you, I'm a fan of Narciso Rodriguez but preferred the EDT which perfomrs better on a 80 degrees environment. On regards to PDM Sedley, the new batch of 2020 is the right one, the original was kind of weak. I do own both Manceras you described, and also Navitus Navus and Primas which are truly underdog from influencers. @@magicmayhem3907 hard to say... that's why I always have both :D I'd say that I tend to use Cedrat Boise when wearing shirts or Henley shirts, and Lemon Aoud Mint when wearing t-shirts - I always wear jeans, I never dress up. If I had to choose only one, I think I'd lean towards Cedrat Boise as I feel it more deep and rich, but as said, for me it's hard almost impossible to choose one over the other. They are different enough to complement each other

I like to wear two colognes and I always wear one fresh-scented cologne as an accent to something that stands out more. I know it's now summer and The Most Wanted is a spicey winter fragrance, but I just smelled it the other day and I think I am going to start wearing that. What is a good fresh scent to combine with something like Azzaro The Most Wanted? I currently wear Montblanc Spirit as my accent and I do like that a lot.
