@@danigonzalez4299 yeah but Rubens stopped in 2011 and Schumacher in 2012. It's just normal that Schumacher had such long career but Rubens? That's remarkable. Rubens didn't enjoy nearly the same fame or talent, but still every team speaks highly of him and he was always wanted for his development insights, which he learned from Senna btw. Even Schumacher used to copy Rubens' set-up. That's pretty insane if you think about it. I don't know how Rubens survived this long. I really don't.

The Williams FW16 Senna was driving before the rule was very aerodynamically unstable, before the later FW16B-spec car was introduced, after the major rules change. Had Senna survived, he would've driven the FW16B.

Excellent video and they saved the best for last. The 2009 season for Brawn GP would make a Hollywood scriptwriter rich, if, and this is a big if, anyone would believe it plausible. It absolutely borders on incredulity. Reality can be stranger than fiction, or to borrow from Murray Walker, "Anything happens in Grand Prix racing, and it usually does." I miss that bloke so much that I just finished reading his book, "Unless I'm Very Much Mistaken" for the third time and loved it yet again. Thank you again, Murray Walker! F1 just isn't the same without the voice that defined F1 for my lifetime.

Speaking of shocking opening races, let's not forget the 1996 season opener in Australia where a new rookie driver lead most of the race but eventually had to let his team mate pass because of a suspicious oil leak, finishing 2nd on his very first F1 race. That rookie was Jacques Villeneuve. He finished 2nd overall in his first F1 season and became world champion at the end of his second season.

There's one incident in F1 history I'm able to recognize from a still image from any angle, naming the year, track, lap, teams & drivers involved. It's this one. It made quite an impression (perhaps mainly from the harsh words my Ferrari fan brother used to voice his opinion on why only one Schumacher was needed in F1).

Balestre was a true piece of trash. That stunt with the drivers and many other situations. Need more Brawn GP stories.

People say Senna and Prost had a rivalry. But Senna-Balestre was the true rivalry. They always fought and argued on pre race meetings. So much that Piquet, who is basically the anti-Senna in every sense, backed him up once, in Japan I think
