Actually I heard that McKay wasn’t supposed to be in season 2. I think the New Year’s Eve party was his last episode so I think that’s why they never showed his reaction to it. Mona being revealed as “A” should’ve been higher on the list. She ran her best friend/only true friend over with a car causing her to be in a huge ass leg cast and a wheel chair, outed Emily not once but TWICE, sent a letter to aria’s mom about her dads affair essentially causing them to break up and aria to go through a whole bunch of family drama while dealing with “A”, and a whole much more. And while she was being “A” she faked “A” messages to herself so the girls wouldn’t suspect her.

Brooke knew peyton wanted lucas that's why she said "I dare you tell people how you really feel about lucas". She tried so hard to get lucas to like her even by getting in his car naked. She tired to push Nathan and peyton back together and it backfired on her. Let's not forget brooke slept with nathan the same night him and peyton broke up. She betrayed peyton too but the only difference is peyton didn't find out until years later. Also what she said about peyton mother was horrible. All of the one tree hill characters are flawed.

The Jimmy and Spinner one wasn't even that bad of a betrayal, it just had the worst consequence. I mean all that Spinner did was lie to rick about how Jimmy was the one who did the prank, he didn't know that Rick would end up shooting him because out that. Mind you Jimmy was becoming friends with the guy who abused Terri and put her in a coma, so Spinner had a right to be mad and is also a betrayal on Jimmy's part. Emma and Peter's thing was definitely worse. I mean this is the guy that took advantage of a drunk girl to film a video then shared the video to everyone because she rejected him. That's called revenge porn and is a crime especially when it features an underage person. Plus what if someone uploaded that video to a porn site and it affected her future, anything could happen. Then Emma who knows what he did, proceeds to date him? That's way worse than a lie that Spinner did end up owning up to.

Ricky was wrong and people were messing with him and bullying him. He could have been left alone to where people minded their business. @@gm.8805 That wasn't his intention though. Spinner never planned for jimmy to get shot and was extremely remorseful about it. Emma dated a guy who hurt Manny and she wasn't even sorry about it. Betrayals are more about the intent than the consequence. You actually have to intend or be ignorant to betray. What Spinner did was definitely a betrayal but it wasn't a big one. All he meant to do was get back at Jimmy for being friends with Terri's abuser. It just had a bigger consequence in the end. He never actually meant to hurt Jimmy that way.

*CORRECTION TO YOUR COMMENTARY:* Joey dumped Dawson to "go find herself," in season 2, not in season 3. She then proceeded to date Jack. After they broke up due to Jack being gay, Joey and Dawson got back together. But Joey dumped Dawson in the season 2 finale. This time, it was because of all of the crap that went down when her father ended up being arrested for selling drugs. In season 3, she tried to get back together with Dawson. This time, he rejected her. *This* is the season when Dawson asked Pacey to keep an eye on Joey, which led to Pacey and Joey falling in love. I'm surprised that you didn't mention the moment when Dylan and Kelly betrayed Brenda in "Beverly Hills, 90210."

I think that the the whole Pacey/Joey/Dawson thing shouldn't even merit an honorable mention compared to the others on this list. Some people take that whole "your friend's exes are forever off-limits" to an extreme, especially at the high school level. If your friend is the one who dumped the ex in question, IMO, they can date whoever they want. (I don't necessarily apply this to former spouses, people you share kids with, or very serious relationships in general.) Dawson was so selfish with Joey in season 3. I agreed with him not getting back together with her in the beginning of the season, but he seemed to think that he was putting his pretty toy on a shelf until he wanted to play with her again. Then when he's ready to be with her several months later, he can't believe that she had the audacity to not just be sitting around waiting, and he had so little respect for his "best friend" Pacey, he thought he had to just be with her for superficial reasons. I agree they should have told Dawson sooner, but they were trying to tell him when he accidentally found from Jen. As a 90's teen, I was Team Pacey all the way!

Kay, I'm just gonna say it, those pictures that were printed out and used in Jessica's court episode of season 2 of 13 Reasons Why is very much glamourising victim blaming, that is not okay, you can show these issues without basically reenacting the cruelty of victim blaming for the whole planet to see. All the breaking of the fourth wall and narrating that Rue's character does makes it way easier to distance yourself from those graphic scenes. The Mona as A was really done well. She was the best A the other A were off the rails and didn’t make sense it’s what happens when you go away from source material. I am disappointed in the CB cause I did like them as a couple in the early years. I tried to get past it but Chucks behavior got worse Lol liberal with their forgiveness Damon was getting forgiven for a lot Dan shooting Keith was surprising and I didn’t like because I liked the premise of Oth two boys and the complicated relationship with the Dad. However after that it became to much of a teenage drama over who gets Lucas Scott lol
