One of the most interesting experiences as a viewer is when you see a film and it just stays with you but you never have the courage to revisit it again. This is true for the several #bollywood #tamil and #malayalam movies I speak about in this video. This ranges from the evergreen performances of #mammootty and #mohanlal , the epic #vickykaushal and #richachaddha starrer Masaan and the iconic #kamalhaasan movie that brokes everyone's heart. I hope you like the Top 10 Shocking Indian Movies That Gave Me Nightmares

Pihu movie released in 2018 about a 2 year old girl being alone in her home with the dead body of her mother and not knowing she is dead, is the most hard hitting and terrifying movie I have seen. Even after a decade I still remember Kamal Hassan's helpless crying scene carrying his daughter in his arms and begging to take her from that brothel in Mahanadi. Apart from Mahanadi, I was haunted by these Tamil movies: 1. Naan Kadavul - a kid who is abandoned and becomes Aghori. 2. Pithamagan 3. Visaranai - the beatings of the cops - how did they even shoot it

Thanmathra was really really tragic man, I watched it two years back and I feel I am brave enough to hold my tears in the dark moments, especially the one when Mohanlal bites his finger and bleeds and even in the death scene, he was shown to die in sleep but the BGM was enough to haunt anyone. The even more emotional part was that his son was praising him in the IAS interview unknown to the reality that he lost his father.😭 Mohanlal somehow saved Priyadarshan by noticing symptoms of memory loss in him and Priyadarshan got treated and made a comeback in life, otherwise Lal's darkest film would have been his bestie's dark reality.

Please watch Sadayam starring Mohanlal. Written by the Njanpeeth winner MT Vasudevan Nair and directed by the king of tragedies Sibi Malayil, it is a tale of a man waiting his death sentence in Jail for killing 3 people including 2 kids. In my opinion, it is an awesome script from MT (who has penned many all time great stories in films and his novels) and career best performance of Mohanlal.

You could do a whole list with just Blessy movies. Infact, Aadujeevitham is less tragic in some ways than all of his other movies. I guess its much harder to relate with someone enslaved on a desert abroad, almost like a Hollywood movie. But his other movies are more relatable and grounded, hence just tragic. But he does it so beautifully that you cant help but watch it once.

The scene where Lal and Prabhu were stranded on an Island and Lal notices that Prabhu have chewed flesh of a dead body, or the jail torture scene after which Lal loses his balance. Even the iconic shoe licking scene was really done by Lalettan himself

Thanmathra released a few months after my dad's passing. For me it was like watching our lives happening right in front of us. A small and happy family traumatized by a sudden illness and death. It's so heart wrenching. 😢 Unfortunately, I couldn't become an IAS officer which my dad wanted me to be. It wasn't possible without his presence and inspiration.

One such accidental watch was" Hello darling" starring naresh in Telugu .I hve definitely promised myself I would never let my children watch these films as they scar them fr life.

Tamil movie Myna and Vazhakki en 18/9 for me were the most heartbreaking ones. While the whole movie in itself is a little serious and makes you think about a horrifying ending, Myna does the unimaginable, and gives us not just a trauma but a ceaseless sadness.

I feel disturbed now and then as the movie is still lingering in my mind and the song sung by joju's daughter in the film keeps popping up in my mind.. Please watch Akashadhoothu a malayalam film about a widow mother played by madhavi which is according to malayalis the hardest film to revisit due to the sufferings of the characters of the film

Apt list! For me, Bhramaram is that movie which comes to my mind immediately, that I never want to watch again in my life. I have a bad memory, so I have to watch certain movies a few times to remember their iconic scenes and dialogues properly. But despite having watched it only once and that too when I was in my early teens, I can clearly remember the climax scenes of Bhramaram. Even though the songs of the movie are beautiful, I cannot listen to them without remembering those haunting scenes. You can say that I have this feeling because I was too young to watch it, and now that I have grown up, maybe I can handle the movie better. But I do not want to take that risk, at least in the near future.
