And yes, electricity runs through wires on power pole lines because, especially in third world countries, it's important for people to get electricity the fastest and cheapest way possible. I don’t think that it was the animals faults they got electrocuted. I blame modern society. Humans are the ones that built those wires and placed them there, the animals have no way of knowing if it is dangerous. They just see the long wooden poles as trees because monkeys, leopards and bears all climb trees, and thus ended up up there. It was also the people that decided it was a genius move to knock out the animals on an electric pole! There isn’t anyone to blame but the humans.

I am confused by the electric fences in this video. The electric fences that I am familiar with, the ones that farmers & ranchers & gardeners use, do not kill. They do not produce a spark when touched, by a person or an animal. It looks like in some places these fences are connected directly to the service. Is that so?

I have a camera and I have seen the raccoons touch the wire. Some of them leave. But others touch the wire a couple times, decide that it's not too bad and climb over anyway.

I'm confused over how you are confused that people throw water under electrical wires. Does rain confuse you? I know many are confused over small electrical monkeys. Even big electrical monkeys get confused by small electrical monkeys. At least, that's how it was explained to me. Monkeys are so lucky, and they don't even show any appreciation.
