If we are only counting characters in the anime (personally only seen the two seasons on Netflix and the manga but I believe the Treasure Island arc is the latest anime arc) it should probably be more like 1. Senku 2. Chrome 3. Gen (I value his ability to outsmart people over the other worthy candidates below him) 4. Byakuya (he admitted himself he is not nearly as smart as Senku and almost flunked out of being an astronaut. He is smart being an astronaut and was smart enough to collect rare metals + come up with the idea to contain voices but his intelligence is overhyped) 5. Ryusui 6. Tsukasa (Despite a lack of scientific knowledge he was able to guess what Senku could do early on and has good battle knowledge. Argument to be higher) 7. Ibara (While smart and crafty, he relied heavily on the overpowered Medusa device and lacks knowledge) 8. Hyoga 9. Ukyo 10. Kazeki The other scientists with Byakuya would be higher than him, but they are fairly irrelevant and I don’t remember all their names so I excluded them With manga characters the list is wildly different, with one VERY notable addition above Chrome
