One fact about Simo Häyhä that you forgot to mention: He made those kills using only the iron sights of his Sako M/28-30 rifle. His reasoning of not using a scope was that iron sight enabled him to keep his head lower than with a scope and also that scopes tend to fog up in freezing winter conditions.

Simo never used a scope, he only used iron sights for shooting in the war, as the optics reflections would make a shooter more easily detectable, and also make them lift their head just slightly higher in their shooting position, which could prove lethal. This could've been mentioned and also the animation you used for Simo had a scoped rifle.

Actually the only reason he did not use a scope was because he chose to use his own rifle he had for over 20 years. He mastered that gun, knew it extremely well, and had used that for hunting and accuracy shooting competitions. The other things are just a bonus, but that is the real reason.

As had Finnish I know that Simo said specifically he preferred iron sight because when you’re hidden in the snow you need to peak your head up in order to aim with the larger scope, making it easier to detect him. He was all about camo and stealth. He also noted that the scope would give off a glimpse of light reflecting the sun.

Other Snipers getting 300 kills in a few months: "Oh, what an amazing feat!"
