I have had Crossroll Hong Kong for YEARS since it came out 5 years ago. No one in my game group wants to play this one over other games but I need to give it a whirl. Been too long on my shelf of shame. Thanks for reminding me about it.

I’m not usually one for solo so I was particularly impressed with Kingdom Legacy and how engaging it was with tough permanent choices and immersive story it really makes you feel the burden of a ruler with only one chance to get it right. But also at only $15 it is so affordable I’m considering buying another to try the other paths not taken. 😊

Hi Tia, Great list as always!! Somehow, I completely missed the Sweet Lands KS and coverage. But it looks likenit could be a hit for my family and for me as a solo. I have to try First in Flight since you love it so much. And I have been eying Fliptown as a solo for a while now. For now I just got Awkward Guests, Fromage, Alubari, Guilds of Merchant Explorers, Search for Lost Species, and Caper Europe, so we have these great game to try. Have a Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 and a great holiday!!

@@tabletoptokki Broken Cask is a really unique solo RPG in regards to theme. You create an inn. As the innkeeper tend to all the things needed to keep the inn and go on adventures as well if that's your thing.

Dwellings is one I will have to look into as well as Awaken and your hype of SW gets me excited. For me one of my favorite new solo games was Snowfall over Mountains from Pencil First Games and designed by Scott Caputo and his wife.

Sorry for the multiple comments last one - I really glad to see that this list does not include the terrible game - slay the spire... It is best as a digital version but not and I repeat it not as a board game

No worries at all!!! And totally agree-- Slay the Spire is one of my most-played video games of all time. I talked about it a little more in-depth in a monthly plays video, but I really didn't feel the board game did anything new or special and instead just took a streamlined video game experience and made it more cumbersome. :c

Just ordered Gamma Guild from The Game Crafter, and Rafter 5 from Amazon. Thanks for the recommendations. In case anyone is interested, here's my solo 2024 rundown: My Top 10 Solo-able Games Published in 2024 (* = solo only): 10: Sfynx (inPatience) 9: Rivages (Pandasaurus) 8: The Last Lighthouse (Button Shy)* 7: FantasyForm (Button Shy)* 6: Leviathan Wilds (Moon Crab Games) 5: Cascadia: Rolling Rivers/Rolling Hills (Flatout Games) 4: Harmonies (Libellud) 3: Invincible: The Hero-Building Game (Dire Wolf) 2: Wondrous Creatures (Bad Comet) 1: Mistwind (First Fish Games) The top 3 were REALLY hard to choose between. All three absolutely thrill me.
