To clarify, as there are different ways to contribute to the creation of a song, when we say songs written by Eminem it doesn't mean that he was the sole lyricist on a track but made enough of a contribution to be listed as a songwriter. thanks! This was kind of misleading. If he writes the hook, like he does with a lot of songs that he produces, he's going to get writing credit for publishing. saying he wrote it makes the rapper who claims he's writes his own stuff, look bad. Now, we all now he wrote for Dre. but the rest of the artist you see he didn't write their verses.

This self described “red neck cowboy” went out and bought 50’s album. That’s the kind of magic Eminem is. Another classic is from his first album “cum on everybody”. any time Dr Dre had an 'album,' his verses are written by his recently signed artists; u can tell by the similarities in the artists' verses and the ones for Dre: while w/ NWA, it was Cube, when he put out the Chronic= Snoop, 2001= Eminem/Snoop, and even his verses on Kendrick's debut album are written by Kendrick. This is also the case for Puff Daddy (or whatever the most recent moniker is).
