For me sucess takes time, so no matter what where you start or reg. i dont need your certificate wheather im eligible or not. If i want more money and growth, why india? Startups are okay in Kerala. The problem starts when it branches into an industrial/manufacturing unit. Then it will get totally screwed up by the LDF and Congress factions with trade unionism. We had double the number of industry, but we lacking low standard labour intensive industry , I think its actually because of our mintset, know one want to do low standard hardwork jobs, look at tamilans they are hard working they didn't hessitate to do any job whether it would a scrap picker or a labour in industry....

Kerala is a tropical paradise that lies between huge mountains on the east and sea shore on the west. So startups and digital growth is sustainable but manufacturing and industrialization doesn't suit it's ecology. But it can always grown in the commercial space.

60 % of students from Kerala are engineers and less than 5% of students get a job in Kerala. because our govt does not support new companies and MNC to kerala. if someone starts a new business our state govt not support it. documents work for registration take a year. every month we have min 3 public holidays and 1 employee strike. Kerala is not good for business

@@johnkarippery9919 the congress still supports more companies and lets them survive to create a presence for themselves...companies in kerala have to be extremely corrupt to survive..they have to bribe politicians especially communists otherwise they'll organize unecessary strikes and demand them to push out more money than they make to the employees (even those who dont work)...the only way a startup can survive is if they bribe shittons of money to the communists and do anything the communists demand of them

Great to know this. But I don't believe Kerala has much potential in nurturing startups. I'm from Kannur and it's a heck of work getting companies recognised by the government. The administration is so corrupt we can't waste time running from one office to other. Probably the reason why it ranks 28th in India to start a business. 🥥 🌴 Go Kerala!! 🇮🇳 IIT Palakkad and NIT calicut are the major engineering college in Kerala, right? That too, Palakkad is very new and IIIT kanchipuram is less than decent to say the least. Kerala needs better colleges (in terms of start up culture and coding culture)for which the state government isn't doing much. So much untapped potential (100℅ literacy rate), the government must do something like the government of Karnataka and Delhi.
