I think that haxorus is underrated as a fully evolved dragon type pokemon, I’m pretty sure that haxorus is the coolest non-legendary dragon type pokemon ever created, haxorus is an european dragon made up of axe and its head is reminiscent of an axe and that’s dope, I mean, just imagine mega haxorus becomes dragon/steel type. My second favorite non-legendary dragon type pokemon is duraludon, why ? Because duraludon is a badass pokemon and duraludon is a steel/dragon type pokemon and duraludon resembles mechagodzilla and that’s dope and duraludon is a strong pokemon competitively, and duraludon is basically a gigantic metallic dragon that you often face as bosses in other video games and that’s dope.

I love how this is 100% true and a testament to how ridiculous King Shield was (in tandem with the old 150/150 defenses) in previous Gens... but when Aegislash got banned to Smogon Ubers, SO MANY people were arguing that it was a dumb decision and unwarranted!! Now Aegislash lost 10bp in both defenses and King Shield only drops Ark 1 stage and it's not seen in any Tier or format lolol.

Ash greninja’s not here not because it isn’t in gen 8. It is because you don’t evolve it from froakie, so it isn’t an evilved pokemon, which doesn’t counts on this list.

@@francishong7948 Right, I understood that. But unless I misunderstand gen 8, there are NO mega evolutions in said generation. That's what I was getting at. Megas aren't in Sword and Shield. So having Blastoise and Gengar placed higher by merit of the mega they cannot use anymore is hypocritical when the same reasoning isn't also applied to Greninja. At that point, mentioning say, Mega Metagross or Mega Salamence should've been there. It's faulty to utilize one mechanic that's not valid over another that's also not. It opens up a mess of worms. Of the training had been how they are in Sword and Shield alone, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Yes, urshifu is a legendary pokemon, so You’re asking why is that even important in the list ? Because urshifu isn’t as strong as solgaleo and lunala and if he included solgaleo and lunala in this list too, it will be broken because solgaleo and lunala are main legendaries while urshifu is just a sub- legendary pokemon/minor legendary pokemon similar to other minor legendaries such as, latios and latias, heatran, silvally and cresselia. So, he decided to add urshifu into this list, but not the main ones like rayquaza, eternatus, kyurem, zygarde and necrozma. And urshifu is pretty much going to be wrecked by all of these legendaries that I mentioned in this chat, and especially eternatus which have 1125 in its alternate form as it’s base stat total which pretty much makes eternatus broken.

I think this list is a little inconsistent. First you said you aren't talking about Ash Greninja since it's not in gen 8 but then you talk about Mega Blastoise and Mega Gengar. Also, if you're going to include mega evolutions on this list then the omission of Mega Metagross, Mega Alakazam (which got nasty plot this gen) and Mega Salamence (which is the strongest non-legendary mega and a huge threat in VGC) is massive. Also, Solgaleo and Lunala should count by your parameters you outlined at the beginning.

I kinda wish you had included megas just for Blastoise. I mega Blastoise is insane! Mega launcher makes aura sphere and dark pulse have 120 base power, and dragon pulse has even more, being base 85 before mega launcher. Water pulse also becomes a 90 base power stab move, which is amazing Edit: Turns out he did cover it, nevermind then!

Water pulse:- 50% STAB + 50% mega launcher = 50 + 50 = 100 = 2× Therefore:- 60 × 2 = 120 Water pulse will gonna have 120 base power

VGC doesnt ban things like smogon, they ban stuff like mythicals and past gen exclusive moved to be fair to players who dont have them available, and they have the different restricted rules for each series, but I dont think theyve banned specific abilities besides those fitting in those categories

I think that haxorus is underrated as a fully evolved dragon type pokemon, I’m pretty sure that haxorus is the coolest non-legendary dragon type pokemon ever created, haxorus is an european dragon made up of axe and its head is reminiscent of an axe and that’s dope, I mean, just imagine mega haxorus becomes dragon/steel type. And not a lot of people see haxorus as a contender for the strongest dragon type pokemon which is a shame because I really love haxorus and I even used haxorus in My play through of Pokémon Sword and Shield. And haxorus is an european dragon and one of the most badass dragons ever created.

My second favorite non-legendary dragon type pokemon is duraludon, why ? Because duraludon is a badass pokemon and duraludon is a steel/dragon type pokemon and duraludon resembles mechagodzilla and that’s dope and duraludon is a strong pokemon competitively, and duraludon is basically a gigantic metallic dragon that you often face as bosses in other video games and that’s dope.
