Not only are they weaker than ki blasts, not only are there less of them, but some characters (hi UI goku and like every single raid boss ever) straight up can't get hit by them. Strikes need a serious rebalance in xv3.

Yeah like Burning Spin, make it trap the opponent in the sphere on the first hit, and make Blue Hurricane work like it did in Xv1, where it hit way more times. Just to name a few ultimates.

Funfact, and I am uncertain if this has been pointed out. By using the move shadow crusher just before the opponent uses brave-sword slash, you can block and then move. Infact, you can quite literally shadow crush, block, side step, and then get behind your opponent to stamina break them. Granted the chances of actually pulling it off are slim as it involves you reading your opponent and taking into the account they go for a raw ultimate move, but man, it is such a cool glitch to me and I am happy to point it out.

It’s so unfair that 2 of some of the coolest and most powerful attacks in the game are both strike based.. it’s so not fair. Like the Godly display consists of a few punches and kicks, then throws a giant ball of energy at the target. That should 100% be ki based. With Power rush I understand it being strike based, considering all it’s entirely punches and kicks. Thanks xenoverse.

Something I discovered, is that vacation delete guarantees burning strike will land if it connects. You need 6 bars of ki at minimum on your build to do this, and I recommend you use future super sayian or potential unleashed to do this combo, since it makes it easier to build up ki (potential unleashed is generally better, but you can also run future super sayian if you wish and still get good damage)
