About 7-8 sprays since it was so weak in longevity, then I rode my usual 15 minute route to work on my motorcycle and like an hour later it was very faint and two hours later it was mostly gone. Azzaro the most wanted was my replacement for it which is “beast mode”. Also, I don’t really consider Prada LR Ocean a summer fragrance, it’s too sweet and powdery for warm weather.

@@dj-dt1vv I’m not saying my motorcycle isn’t a factor. That was actually my point. My motorcycle tests act as a rigor test for my fragrances. I test them using both my car and my motorcycle on separate days using same scenario experiments with the only difference being my transportation. For example The Most Wanted lasts for days on clothing even if I use my motorcycle.. Rasasi Hawas would probably last weeks. Prada Ocean lasted about 1-2 hours using my motorcycle and about 2-3 hours using my car.. projection was pretty bad all throughout.

Ocean is seriously so underrated. It gives me a very minty vibe and a nice depthness and is really fun and unique. The caramel adds such a nice sweetness to the base and it’s really fun. Very worth it

yeah I'm not impressed with ocean... I mean Prada lhomme and intense set the standards of a Prada fragrance for men extremely high litterly unmatchable in the Prada land... and the seriously exing them out unreal... but for the Luna Rosa line black is literally the only unique thing goin on with Prada right now

@@kcisthe1st carbon is nothing like ocean. I love ocean as it shares a very similar iris to Prada L’Homme which I adore while being brighter on the opening and a bit more casual and fun for everyday. I’ll also add, with Ocean I don’t really get the gross super metallic ambroxan dry-down I sometimes get on some days from other blue fragrances.

Useful video. I blind bought Karl Largerfield’s Bois de Vertiver last month. It was under £20 in the sale…guess that’s about $25 US? I wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised! @@umpus in my opinion, Eau Fraiche hangs onto the citrus a bit more, and Blanc dries down a bit more woody. Eau Fraiche also has a little lavender in it that I love, but it's faint. Like I said, I love both, I prefer Blanc but both are fantastic.

Completely agreeing with your sister. I never bought into the alleged "realistic" grapefruit in D&G LB Forever. It is just not. If you like grapefruit it would make your mouth water, but this fragrance simply does not do that at least to me at all. (Try instead Taylor of Old Bond Street's Grapefruit Shaving Cream, and you'll feel the difference not just in your nose, but in your mouth.) Something else is that I have recently worn Dior Homme Cologne a lot at home. So not real peak of Summer heat, just normal comfortable temps. I apply 7-8 sprays both on skin and on my cotton tshirts, and even after 8 hours I can smell it on me without any problem. So I disagree about its longevity not being great. I'd say it is at least average, and bordering great. If only applying on skin, and being outside under the sun in the heat of the Summer might be a different matter of course, but that will be the case for any fragrance. Wear Dior Homme Cologne indoors, and also apply on clothes, not just on skin, and you'll see. Btw that happens not just with DHC. Also ~8h indoor longevity happens for example with Mugler Cologne, and Montblanc Starwalker, when spraying also 7-8 times and both on skin and clothes.

I think you are one of the few who give the Azarro Chrome line the due it requires. Very seriously overlooked fragrance. In my collection of 150+ it's gotten me the most compliments plus I love it to death.

I'm glad a Ralph Lauren (Blue) scent got an honorable mention. With 9000 flankers, RL had it get a hit eventually, right? Haha. I did not like Deep Blue Parfum, but I'll give Blue Parfum a shot. Your top 3 are solid. I found Missoni Wave too synthetic, so Versace easily beats it. Profondo had to grow on me a bit, blue fragrances usually do. It's an easy to wear warmer-weather version of the king Profumo. PLR Ocean is quite impressive. I initially hated the opening, but it grew on me. That dynamic drydown is just remarkable. It's sometimes caramel, sometimes floral, sometimes earthy - and never offensive. Prada may have played it "safe" with ocean, but they still managed to justify their own product, and not just dupe something else.
