There was a time when CannonBall was expected become the next leader of the X-Men. He has had a number of mentors not only being trained by Professor X but also Magneto and then Cable. He had a stable and balanced personality and even showed greater leadership qualities then Cyclops or Wolverine. I had such great hopes when X-Force first started. Unfortunately the writers had other ideas and things just didn't go the way I had hopped.

I used to have that “Was that your best shot?” issue. (might still be around here somewhere...) The “wtf...” look on Gladiator’s face was pretty epic, especially considering his power gets stronger or weaker depending on how confident he is in himself.
