Burton - Inactive (bonehead) re: Barner, Is this specific to receiving PFF grade? If it's overall, Barner and the rest of the OL in Seattle had really bad days overall. Receiving-wise, there was a redzone play where Barner got tripped up/held and was late on his route so Geno's pass sailed past him and for an INT. Another thing about Maye vs Williams: At what area does Drake Maye have anything around him that is better than the Bears? Maye has: a bottom 5 receiving core, a poor offensive line and a first year HC and OC. Caleb has Moore, Allen, the 9th pick in a loaded WR class, Kmet, and a better OL. On top, Waldron has called plays before. Not saying Maye will be better than Caleb, but he has like the worst supporting cast in the league. His best weapon is Rhamondre Stevenson. And he’s been better.

I’m not expert but Maye does look better than Williams. Looks a lot more calm in the pocket among other things. Caleb seems to just be chucking the ball all over the place just to see what happens… also idk if it’s just me bc I have DJ Moore on my team but it seemed like he wasn’t even trying to look DJ’s way at all.. like he was going out of his way to not throw to him… I only saw the quick replay they did when he was trying to throw the fade to either odunze or Allen in the end zone, but it looked like DJ was WIDE OPEN on a slant to score. You mean to tell me DJ Moore is the 3rd read on this team??? Idk man just a quick rant. I may be overreacting.

Look ive watched all 22 for the Bears and Caleb has been inconsistent, but nothing around him besides Swift, the RT, and Cole Kmet have been good. The play calling has been AWFUL and the receivers aren’t on the same page with Caleb which stems from poor coaching

Caleb owner.. only options in my 16 team league are; Daniel Jones, Rush, Carr, Young and Flacco. Had to Darnold for another starting position in my when Vikings played TNF a few weeks back. Someone outbid me the week after . Wouldn’t be in this position if Fields wasn’t benched. Not sure who to pivot to or make a trade/buy low for. Some teams have 3 QB, most 2

All I'll say on Caleb is which has been bad longer, the Bears or Caleb Williams? Why did Justin Fields leave and suddenly look competent? A lot of Jaydens success is directly tied to Kliff Kingsbury's willingness to build the entire system around him. They are basically running his college offense with some pro concepts mixed in. Shane Waldron is a terrible OC. So bad the team had to have a meeting with him 3 weeks into the season
