@@SCOUTdog30 It’s simple math. LAR is a pass-heavy offense and the ball has to go somewhere. We already saw a 40% target share for Kupp in week 1. No other receiver in the league is going to sniff that. You could go Lamb, Hill, and then Kupp, but I don’t see a case for any of the other guys you mentioned. Most of them are stuck in run-heavy offenses, are competing for targets, or are tied to bad QB play.

Have to say, gibbs was not in the 2 min drill as a specific intention. They were still splitting drive for drive like they did last year. Which is a negative for gibbs ppr upside, but increases his goalie touches as they aren’t getting cultured by DMont

They brought Gibbs in for a couple of montys drives just to try for a receiving play. Particularly in the OT drive, Gibbs came in for about 2 snaps caught a pass and then Monty came back in and scored the touchdown. I think Gibbs is going to cut more and more into Monty’s drives, especially since Gibbs missed a lot of training camp and is coming off a hamstring injury.

I have Gibbs on my team. I’m not worried because he doesn’t need a lot of touches to for him to have a big game because he’s very efficient whenever he gets the ball. It seems like he gets 10 yards each time he rushes or catches the ball.

On saquon, extrapolating targets using one week is bad process. Also saquon took a stinger and was out of the 2 min drill to end the first half after calling himself out of the game the last play before the two minute warning. Injury related more likely then Gainwell taking snaps

Didn’t get why Kincaid was being drafted so high. I think everyone forgot he splits with Knox Same with Puka, he only had that high a target share last year with Kupp dealing with a lingering hamstring. At full health, Kupp is the alpha

Does this include run plays where they’re just blocking? What does it matter if they are unable to create separation? To me the truth is told in the film. That week is coming, probably sooner than later. Just like Diggs in HOU, it's understandable teams who added a major offensive piece are going to prioritize them out the gate to get acclimated... and more importantly create the appearance of a smart off-season move.
