Dinosaurs evolved from reptiles over 230 million years ago and were on Earth for about 65 million years before going extinct for reasons that aren’t exactly clear. For centuries, their fossils have fascinated people for a whole host of reasons, like their size, their ferocity, and the fact that they resemble mythical creatures.

The fear of death from predators is still strong in our species. Just looking at those t-rex’s teeth frightens me to the core. I also wonder if dinosaur fossils that were found in the ancient world gave rise to the myths of dragons in almost every culture. The human imagination is an amazing thing.

Just like extant animals, particular species live in certain areas. You can't find ostriches anywhere but sub-Saharan Africa, kodiak bears are only found in North America, dingoes are only found in Australia. So, yeah, it actually makes perfect sense that specific dinosaur species lived in specific geographic regions, generally where their fossilized remains have been found. While species like spinosaur aegypticus may have lived in a wider geographic region than present-day Morocco and Egypt. Though, at the time they lived, most of Europe was just a series of archipelagos and northern Africa was a swampy coastland. Spinosaurus was specifically adapted to life in that environment. So, yeah, it's highly unlikely spinosaurs aegypticus lived anywhere outside what is now present-day northern Africa.

One fact you missed with T Rex that I found intriguing: their jaw could be a potential bioweapon. The theory is that since they were meat eaters and couldn't care less about dental practices, the mouth of was full of bits of rotting meat. As a result, if you somehow survived the bite, the infection of the wound would get you. Kinda fascinating when you think about it.

What's truly depressing is that pop culture still prefers these chimeras to the real thing. It's an utter failure of imagination when we hear someone whining about how paleontology has ruined their childhood because we now know that raptors had feathers or whatever. As if the latest paleontological findings were some crappy reinvention of a childhood franchise instead of the amazing scientific breakthroughs that they are.

There is such thing as a brontosaurus. It refers to a genus that includes at least three species. It was once considered related to the apatosaurus, however- it is now considered its own separate genus. Do some fact checking before making broad, sweeping claims like that. This show presents itself as educational, and therefore you have a duty to your viewers to conduct the proper research before making any such claims.

It wasn't Brontosaurus who could break the sound barrier with its tail! It was Diplodocus! Microraptor is the smallest known dinosaur, not compsognathus. And thanks to new studies, there was created a new construction of the Spinosaur body. It shows that Spinosaurus was way smaller. You should look it up!

Spinosaurus wasn't that much bigger than T. rex Than it says And finally deinonychus was around 4 ft tall and velociraptor was 3 ft tall while Utahraptor was say 6-10 ft tall

They are not dinosaurs. The bird hipped (or ornithischian) dinosaurs, as their name reflects, have a very similar hip structure to living birds. All of these dinosaurs were herbivores, and the main groups include forms such as Hypsilophodon and the 'duck-billed' hadrosaurs such as Maiasaura (an ornithopod), the horned dinosaurs such as Triceratops (a ceratopsian) and other large herbovores such as Stegosaurus and the club-tailed Ankylosaurus. All major groups of dinosaurs can be grouped together to form an evolutionary 'tree' that illustrates their evolutionary relationships. The diagram below shows the arrangement of bones in the ornithischian hip, in which the pubis points backward parallel with the ischium.
