I personally dont like the block button. I feel it takes away the artist choice. What if that girl connected better with blocked artist then the rest.

But drama... and the show is about the coaches giving them a chance. The coach chooses them before they can choose a coach. Since the goal of the show is for a coach to win by having their contestant "battle on stage", the block button becomes a normal and logical addition to the show. The coaches decide first, so if they really want a contestant, then them being able to block another coach adds drama and "tension". I'm with you and I don't enjoy the whole blocking coaches as I would prefer the show to be centered around the contestants, but that's not the case. I just have to bank on the fact that they only get 1 block each.

I think it was Indonesia (?) but I loved their recordings, the sound that plays when they turn around are more subtle. For the countries that do have a block button, I really want to see one contestant that says they want a judge that was blocked.
