So fun finding your channel! I lived in Bahrain from 1991-1994. Watching this brought back so many memories. Driving to the Tree of Life, Bahrain Fort & trips to Manama beach are especially memorable. I also remember a certain type of birthday cake we used to eat!! The frosting tasted unique. Obviously can’t find it in the U.S. and I don’t know how to recreate it. 😅😩 Came back to edit my comment to add this…I even remember what the Bahrain International Airport smelled like. It’s crazy.. years later I mentioned that to my husband when we were walking around another airport. I was 8 or 9 years old when I left Bahrain.

No they didn't! You paid for the trip and if you found any pearls you got to keep them!
