If you had watched AT's "Looking for Rhianna in Barbados" video, you would've heard the driver guide refer to the colors as ULTRA- marine and gold. Maybe she misheard?

@vittmanvittman4915 Whatever the driver said elsewhere is a bit immaterial. Her female guide said the colours are aquamarine and gold. I do rejoice that she did not say "yella", but she did say "aqua-" rather than ultra (a common mistake).

Bajans are honest for the most part. A recent tourist noticed that he lost his wallet soon after leaving the airport 🛫 upon arriving at the hotel. All his money and credit cards. Soon after, he reported that hotel staff called him to inform that the taxi 🚕 driver returned the wallet at the hotel. The guest dropped it in the taxi

Btw, I had a similar welcome in your country as well. I have video footage. They were women and kids singing to greet us who came off Emirates and also the BA and Ethiopia Air. Immigration took forever though...like a good 2-3 hrs 😅

I was in Kenya during the summer and I was so disheartened at the behaviors of some people who wanted to cheat you because your foreigner. I was ready to get back on plane back to Barbados. Even when you pay at restaurants they very slow to make change because they hoped you wouldn’t asked them back for your own money. Apart from this disgusting behavior, I really enjoyed Kenya. The people are very friendly.
