I'm a Disney World beginner! My husband and I have never been and have now started planning and saving for a week+ long trip to Disney world. You guys inspired us! I had always wanted to go, but now we're making it really happen! I started by watching Jess's channel, heard about the podcast, and I'm so thankful for it! I've watched a lot of videos on Disney World attractions, so I've heard of most of what you're talking about, but appreciate the short descriptions as a reminder here and there. Thanks for making this!

I could listen to you two talk all day. You truly make me smile and laugh out loud. I've never been to Disney World, so I always appreciate some descriptions of flavors, smells, sounds so I can imagine things as I plan my trip to Disney. Those descriptions may also help your true Disney fans relive the experience you're talking about. However, I understand there has to be a line. People won't listen if the podcast is too long. Thank you for all you do!

I haven't been to Disney in about 15 years and I have no plans of going, BUT I love listening to your stories. It just puts me in a great mood and makes me excited to go to the theme park near me instead. I appreciate all the descriptions you give, I say the more descriptive the better :)

Where to begin... was at Disney Land when I was 11 and love what I remember about it. I've never been to any Disney since, but it's a bucket list item. Watch on KZbin, have never listened to a Podcast, and honestly don't know how. I'm 68 and started watching Jessica's channel because it popped up in my feed and fell in love with her, she physically resembles my youngest daughter, and her personality is a ringer. From there found Tyler's Travels, love his personality, and watch building my retirement 'bucket list' travel/vacation ideas. Obviously became an enchanted Disneyville Citizen. Love vicariously living through your whole families adventures.

I worked at studios on my college program and being there every day really made me appreciate it so much more. I worked at Star Tours and Indiana Jones specifically, and let me tell you, there is so much magic made at those two attractions. Watching little kids meet Indy and Marion after the show always put a smile on my face, no matter how long, bad, or hot of a day I was having. Also if I had a dollar for every time someone asked me if Star Tours was ROTR, I’d never have to work again
@womanofacertainage5892 Жыл бұрын
Do I explain everything you're talking about? I grew up 20 minutes from DisneyLAND - so if it's DWORLD-specific, then nope! I've gone to DisneyLAND probably at least 30 times, likely more like 40-50 in my life. Starting before I remember. But I'd listen to you two talk about paint drying (Tyler painting Gigi's room, anyone? LMAO) Also, YES, please do a Patreon! I currently pay 2 other creators a small amount per month and love supporting them, would love to support your podcast on Patreon. :)

I’m listening because I want to learn more about all things Disney. I actually don’t know much about it. I come from a low income family so I’ve only been able to go to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA (like maybe 2 times 😅). So it would be great if y’all explained more some stuff because I didn’t know what was Epcot or this Hollywood studio haha. In general I didn’t know there was soooo many parks that are Disney related. Interesting really ❤

In tower of terror preshow, the actor really IS Rod Serling! They used original twilight zone footage of him but strategically cut the scenes to show things like the elevator and whatnot. Since he had passed away, Disney found a voice actor that had a super similar voice to his and they dubbed over the original footage with the new voice actor. Rod’s family was involved in choosing the new voice actor.

Side note: Tyler, my brother and fam tried the Lobster pasta on the Dream. He will eat anything, the rest of the fam spit it out. There's some feedback for ya! To answer your ending question: I know nothing about Disney Land/World. I’ve never been. But, I have been to Silver Dollar City hundreds of times. It’s close to where we live, so it’s just a “pop over and spend a day” kind of adventure. That’s the only park I’ve ever seen, and it (and Branson in general) holds so many wonderful memories for me and my family.

It's so fun hearing you guys talk about Cedar Point knowing I live so close to it and have worked there multiple times before 😂 But I'm petrified of heights and all the rollercoasters there, I cry while going up the hill, but omg the first time I finally was convinced to ride the Top Thrill Dragster, I was crying and shaking while waiting in line and still once I got to get in my seat. The worker was almost gonna not let me on because of it haha. But once I got in the seat and did it, it truly was a thrill. My adrenaline was through the roof. Loving the podcast! My family went to Disney in 1989 ( I was 12) a week before Hollywood Studios (MGM) opened. If you stayed on the Disney resort you could go to the park and try everything as a preview. The next week was the grand opening when all of the celebrities were there. But it was so cool to do all of the things before anyone else. The last time we went with our kids in 2017 we spent the most time at HS. My youngest who was 8 at the time loved The Great Movie Ride. Glad we got to ride it before it was gone.

I'm loving these! I haven't been to Disney since I was 3 and don't remember it at all so some explanation of your favorites would be good. I also think later on (after you finish your top 10 lists) it would be cool to have different scenarios someone would ask you as a travel agent and each of you put together your suggested itinerary. For example "We have 4 days, have never been, have no kids and have this budget" or "We have a week, kids aged _____, and this budget." etc.
