@AllanSu

You can reach everything by public transportation (bus, metro etc.) and a little walking. The entrance fee prices vary so I recommend checking the official website of those places if needed. But most of the places are pretty affordable

Sorry if you mentioned this somewhere in your videos, but do you speak Japanese? If you don't can you talk about difficulties traveling tokyo, osaka, kyoto and the likes without knowing Japanese? Thank you!
@AllanSu
@AllanSu 5 жыл бұрын
I don't speak Japanese other than the basic words of arigato and sumimasen 🙂 I didn't find it difficult at all traveling through those cities, they are relatively tourist friendly with most street signs translated in English. Albeit most Japanese people you'll meet won't know much English at all, while the ocassional ones who do are found in-and-around heavy tourist zones. With that said, with some basic common sense and perhaps a little help from Google Translate it should be managable. Hope that helps!

@AllanSu
@AllanSu 5 жыл бұрын
You are completely right. The main hall is covered for renovations until 2020, but the wooden roof section should still provide a decent view although marred somewhat by the renovation work. And yes, the footage was taken before the renovation work had started.

Yeah it's a bummer but there are fortunately other great shrines/temples. On that note, I highly recommend the Rurikoin temple. It's a bit outside the city but it has a lovely train ride up to it with a very nice scenic view. The temple itself is also stunning during the fall season.

When going from place to place no one mentions how? Are these all close enough to walk/taxi or are busses and even trains required?
@AllanSu
@AllanSu 5 жыл бұрын
A few of the places are relatively close so you can easily walk. Otherwise, most places are reachable by bus or by bike if you decide to rent one. The only place that is a bit far away from the rest is the Fushimi Inari Shrine. You'll have to grab a train to get there.
