I’m finally visiting Japan on a solo trip after years of anticipation. Today, I was walking back to my hotel in Shibuya to rewatch this video to make sure I got all the right places, and then I ran into Paolo the man himself!!! I’m still mind-blown! GREAT VIDEO!

Glad you got to meet Paolo. If I ever get to visit Tokyo someday; I hope to meet Paolo myself because his videos are so informative on the best places for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Tokyo. Visiting Tokyo is a dream of mine because it seems like no matter where you go in Tokyo; there's history around every corner. The earthquake and fire of 1923 along with World War II changed much of Tokyo; but in some ways the city has managed to remain the same before those tragic times.

I guess it's because it isn't in your area of interest, but you missed one type of thing that is a must-see (for music lovers) that visit Shibuya: the music halls. Shibuya has some great music venues (though most are small in capacity by Western standards) that have shows going on almost every night. Tsutaya O-East, Tsutaya 0-West, Eggman, Cyclone, Quattro, and a bunch of others. The music scene is really strong in Japan, and you can see some amazing bands if you try.
