If you notice, the guards at Storm’s End were not impressed at all, when Lucerys laned on Arrax… They just had seen Aemond arrive on Vhagar and I’m sure that was a sight to see so seeing this little boy and little dragon was no where near as exciting, like watching the second moon landing. That stood out to me, as just previously Rhaenyra had spoke about how proud The Lord of Storm’s End would be to host Lucerys and his dragon. That is the small details that made GOT great and which now seems to make GOT HOTD Great.

Crazy to be reminded that these dragons are not always doing the bidding of their targaryen riders. I tend to think of them as weapons that the targs can weild, and forget that they're essentially wild animals in captivity.

I’ve seen in some articles that some are criticizing the portrayal of brutal birth on this show. I disagree that it is uncalled for, and love how it demonstrates the strength and stress of being both a mother and a royal.

What you fail to realize that you not seeing more of in this show, is how the other houses really feel. The Westerosi people/Houses have been looking for a way to take away power from house Targaryen ever since Aegon the conqueror came to their shores! So puppet king Aegon is exactly fitting....they needed someone strong enough who can have a dragon and listen to them! When Rhaenyra talked about the prophecy and peace, this is what made Daemon so mad and he choked his wife when she refused to use dragons. He said, "dreams didn't make us Kings, dragons did..." Again he uses dragons to instill loyalty with the Queen's Guard. The Westerosi people's version of peace - to get rid of all Targaryens All Targaryen monarchs' version of peace - unite the realm for purpose to defeat the Night King. In the end, in Dany's timeline....no one wanted a Targaryen back on the throne...ever again! It's why she never got true support or the welcome wagon. So any opportunity they get, Westerosi will take it....this time by planting their own heir - Aegon the drunkard.

Daemon is so easily watchable, his actions are often so relatable. He’s loyal and dedicated, he’s willing to put his life on the line to make things right. Aemond is mysterious and alluring. When he does act, it’s kind of shocking. Both of the actors are incredible and gorgeous men as well.

Another parallel that could fit into this list would be the moment Ser Erryk brought Viserys crown to Rhaenyra. It reminded me of the scene where Ser Barristan Selmy saved Dany's life and then revealed himself and swore to her. Although Rhaenyra's version was more intense and emotional due to the things that happened before her coronation, you can't deny that it gave flashbacks to that awesome GOT scene. Shame we didn't get a proper coronation scene of Daenerys.

There seems to be some kind of connection between riders and dragons, the dragon bond. Like caraxes and daemon, syrax and rhaenyra. We also see it with lucerys. Arrax seems to know what lucerys wants and how to evade vhagar, but loses his focus when he feels the most threatened.

Aemond is a bully. He picked and chased a smaller kid and when his dragon killed him, he was horrified. All he wanted to do was to scare Jace, as most bullies do. But when he went too far, he was horrified by his actions. So hopefully, he will have some character development in the next season. Doesn't add up... Viserys parents are Baelor and Rhaella, both children of Jaeherys... Rhaenyra mom, Aemma Arryn is daughter of Daella Targaryen, also daughter of Jahaerys.. Which means that all three, Viserys, Aemma and Daemon are grandchildren of Jahaerys and are all cousins... Also meaning that Rhaenyra is niece of Daemon both from father and mother but she´s no cousin of him... Do the Math
