What should you bring to Thailand?
Besides common sense?
Well there are a few things you should pack;
Deodorant, razor blades, water shoes are a few of the things I think you should pack along with,,,,,,,

Food poisoning, been there done that. In Bangkok 2012, I got a food poisoning. Probably at Bon Chon Korean fried chicken, or McDonald's. Walking 5 minutes to Boots at Silom Complex was a LONG 5 minutes when you have the Bangkok belly. Pack up some Imodium.

There is definitely nothing worse than scrambling running around trying to find any type of relief so yes pack something with you.... Don't listen to the so-called Bros that know and buy it here bring some with you trust me....

Great suggestions! I would add ear plugs to the list. Traveling extensively in Central and South America a common theme is noise at night, 2 cycle motos, blaring noise, dogs barking, car alarms, drunk neighbors loud at 3 am, roosters crowing.... bring some that you have tested and are comfortable and work well. Lack of sleep quickly lowers your immune system and being sick on vacation is such a waste. Remember Nothing ruins a great day like a night of no sleep beforehand.

Yes,a good point,I use them all the time here especially in the Agogos 🤣 Most pharmacies here have good quality earplugs (eg3M) and they are reasonably priced.

Sandy enough to be honest with you I cannot use ear plugs it just freaks me out I'm not sure why I just cannot use..... But you are right certain spots can be horrifically noisy at night time... I found a really cool hotel in Bangkok that has no windows and complete concrete walls so at night time when you try to sleep it's completely black and soundless I sleep like an angel

There is nothing wrong with putting affiliate links to products that you actually use. At the very least, you should link to the gear you use to film your videos. Do this in the description section of EVERY video. I do this on my photography channel, and every now and again, it puts cash in my pocket. For this video, I would link to things like the electric adapter, the water shoes, and the waterproof bag. That way, if people are unclear about what a water shoe is, the affiliate link gives them a chance to get clarity on what you're talking about. Basically, Doc, you are doing great work, and the cash from affiliate links will help you keep serving your public longer. So don't deprive us of housecalls from our favorite doctor and get busy adding links to all of your videos today!

If you use regular soap at the end of a warm (where available) it is better than any shaving cream because it clogs up less. The warm shower softens the beard more than shaving cream in my humble opinion

Why hello there again Dr. Marc…… I agree with you about foreign condoms and there suitability for use by North American/European peeps. When I was in college I grabbed a handful of free condoms at the medical center, intending to give them to my boyfriend at the time, Oscar Meyer. They were way too small for him so looking at the package I noticed they were made in China. I’ve made a good use of them anyway. They fit well on my thumb so I used them to turn pages of books I was reading in a speed reading course I was taking out the time. Also about this time, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio and he was chatting with a fellow about this very condom topic. , Pointing to the fact that all the Chinese made condoms were quite small and not useful for north American/European men. Rush Limbaugh‘s response was, “now that makes me proud to be an American “. I’m guessing that the Chinese condoms are more suitable for Canadian men because of the extreme cold in that part of the world. Another item that I would think should be on the list is everybody going to Thailand should bring a lightweight backpack/tourist bag that is pickpocket proof.

One exception of course is water which expands when it freezes. It’s probably colder in Minnesota then where are you lived in Canada ……. I do admit to listening to Rush Limbaugh but almost all the time it was in somebody else’s car or home. I always thought of Rush Limbaugh as an entertainer much like Trump and Trudeau. It's actually great advice to pack some with you so that you have them,,,,, because if you're s*** ing your pants why would you want to have to go to 7-Eleven???? Lol if you listen carefully enough at the very end of the video I say that you can get every single thing here with the exception of the deodorant and the common sense but it just makes life a little bit easier and helps you live your best life if you bring some things with you....... Let us be honest, where on anyone`s priority list is it to buy these after you get here? I bet most won`t do it before several days, maybe weeks, if ever. And by that time, the accident might already have happened. Running around looking for these tablets is not a thing you should do when you are already in deep sh... Then it`s just too late, which it might easily be for many foreigners. Good advice, Mark. You did these advices with a dash of humour, I loved it. And there will always be haters, or that guy, on youtube, don`t worry about it.
