Low-key surprised the nearly 85 meter toss by a d2 javelin thrower didn't get an honorable mention

Its Stona. The most surprising result in a major meet in throws history. (Lagi last year was also shocking). Him 4th on this list is crazy low.

It was for sure surprising... we actually debated this quite heavily before agreeing on the list

Did anyone else notice the stress from Kovacs in the Olympics this year? It was obvious in his face and mannerisms that it’s been getting to him. He would be the most dominant shot putter in the world at any other time but unfortunately he’s living in the same time as Ryan Crouser. He put so much pressure on himself to defeat Crouser he almost missed on a podium, it’s too much and we almost saw him crumble. Its really awful to see

He still bounced back in the comp and had the only 23 meter throw this year... I think we still haven't seen the best of Joe which makes the sport super exciting.
