That definitely is one of my favourite moments, if Vegeta didn't distract Cell in the Manga and Kai version of Z then Cell would have won that beam struggle as that Vegeta being the only one to help Gohan was the Canon outcome which also makes that one of my favourite Vegeta moments since not only was it to avenge his dead future son but it was also to help out the son of the deceased Kakarot also it was to save Gohan like how Gohan saved Vegeta against Cell

Well gohan for the props too when he was fighting cell at super sayain 2, which made everyone love gohan, the only thing was the ego that he had "which im sure was because of how much more powerful he was that lead him to act that way" im thinking because he hasnt been in that mode for so long that it literally changed his train of thought which you can see in gokus eyes when gohan wasnt going to just end it and finish him off for good the first time. He was surprised he thought that way which shows that its the first time goku has seen gohan respond like that "sorry for repeating myself lol"

SSJ2 gohan is a merciless beast who's motive is to terrorize you, let you take cheap shots on him, walk through it like it was nothing and then proceed to toy with you and once he's done playing with his meat, he'll slice you in half with one shot. That was the ultimate form of Gohan for me. Just an unforgiving monster, he doesn't have pride like Vegeta or forgiveness like Goku, once he's snapped he's worse than Frieza.

Everyone keeps forgetting that Gohan can easily catch up to Goku and Vegeta. Hell, he did that on Namek. Goku was an adult and he had a power level of 9000 at base form. On Namek, Gohan had a power level of 10K. I know that power levels are meaningless, but they do show potential in characters. I mean, c'mon, Gohan is scariest when he is angry, serious, and willing to fight. Just look back at the cell games and Super Saiyan 2. But Vegeta will honest to God always be my favorite because of how far he has come not only of power, but just as a character.

My top 10 favourite moments for Gohan in the entire franchise are: 1: Gohan reaching a new level of power in the Ultimate form/Potential Unleashed/Mystic route that being Gohan Beast and firing off a Special Beam Canon to Cell Max's cracked crown. 2: Fighting against Gamma 1 to save his daughter from the hands of the Red Ribbon Army before teaming up with the Android to fight Cell Max. 3: Gohan goes Super Saiyan 2 for the first time against Cell after seeing 16's head get crushed by Cell's foot and laying waste to the Cell Jr's. 4: SSJ2 Gohan defeating Perfect Cell in the Giant beam struggle with the father-son Kamehameha with the help of Vegeta being the only one in Canon to distract Cell in order for Gohan to complete obliterate Cell, which is also one of my favourite Vegeta moments. 5: Gohan teaming up with Piccolo to defeat the Universe 6 Namekians in the Tournament of Power. 6: Gohan "fighting" Frieza in the Tournament of Power to trick Frost, Champa and the U7 stand members. 7: Gohan and Frieza teaming up against Dyspo and Gohan's self-elimination to take Dyspo out of the Tournament. 8: Ultimate Gohan vs Super Buu even though Gohan was acting very cocky like in his fight against Cell when Gohan first went Super Saiyan 2, plus loved the insult Gohan called Super Buu. 9: Gohan fighting Lavender whilst poisoned and blinded by said poison in the U7 vs U9 mini Tournament. 10: Gohan's fight against Frieza on Namek even though it didn't amount to much due to Frieza being way stronger than Gohan at that stage in the story but it was great to see Gohan get a few hits on the evil space emperor as a 5 year old child. Gohan is my 3rd favourite DB character behind Goku who is my 2nd and Vegeta who is my 1st and hopefully after the latest film that Gohan finally understands that he needs to balance his life between his job as a scholar, a family man and as a fighter and defender of Earth when the two main Saiyans aren't on Earth at the time a powerful enemy comes a knocking, same with Toei finally knowing how to write for Gohan since it was all over the place throughout Super, since Gohan now knows that he will need to keep training to protect his family from threats since as Vegeta stated a few times that Gohan has the highest potential out of both Vegeta and Goku
