Yes..sure have. Carnival's laundry room, as well as NCL's send out service.

I saw a great tip on another video that worked great on our last cruise. Open up your suitcases and put them under the bed and store your shoes and other infrequently used items, may such as large coats. Frees up room in your closet.

Packing cubes are THE BEST!!! I found out about them before our last cruise from another cruise youtubers and omg. We saved so much space and so easy to unpack. And with that, when cruising with littles, I have 2 boys, what I do, I pre plan their outfits and pack them in gallon sized bags and squeeze all the air out of it. So then I can just throw it in the drawers, so when they need clothes, they can go in and pick a bag. And when we go out, I can grab a bag for each boy in case there was an accident, they get wet, whatever, and then I can reuse that bag to put their dirty clothes in and not get everything else in the backpack dirty or wet. I also bring a pop up hamper for all our dirty clothes and since it bends, my husband just throws the hamper with all the dirty clothes back into the suitcase when we need to pack up. So when we get home we don’t have to be “well, I don’t remember if this is dirty or not...” or have the funky smelling clothes get our suits and dresses funky smelling.

I also put everything into a folder that I will need!!! As a back up I printout a second copy of everything and just have it folded up and put into one of the pockets of my luggage. Thank God!!! On our last cruise they threw out my folder to days before the cruise ended!!! They did make an effort to look for it but could not find it!!!!! Itwas gone!!!! Never hurts to have a second copy of everything!!!!!

Between trips, I like to put Bounce dryer sheets or bath blasters in my luggage to keep the luggage "fresh". When packing shoes, I put socks in my shoes so the shoes will retain their shape.

Great job, as always, gentlemen! I love to be organized at home (clutter makes me nervous, and you can waste SO much valuable time just LOOKING for stuff!), so I world be organized in the smaller space on a cruise as well. Always wondered bout packing cubes - have never used them but will have to look into them for my cruise NEXT September. Great idea to leave stuff in the cubes too! I already have a hanging organized pocket thingie on my Amazon Wish List. :) I do exactly the same thing - bring a garbage bag for my dirty clothes, and also some extra gallon and quart bags "in case". I also bring some unused dryer sheets/put them in drity clothes bag, maybe 1 in dresser drawer, and always keep some in my suitcase (even when at home) - - makes them all keep smelling fresh, and if you're doing laundry on vacation - voila!! :) I also always bring either a clothes pin or chip clip for use on the curtains, in case they don't close tightly. :) Thanx to both of you for who you are, and what you do. I keep documents for the trip and then any brochures, leaflets, etc. that I pick-up along the way in one of those plastic file folders from the dollar store. I find that it stands up perfectly along the inside back of my daypack while traveling when its needed and then it can stay in the cabin/room during the trip.

I am happy to hear your bring tape and mini office supplies! I do that too! I bring my scotch tape, black sharpie and scissors!!! They have been life savers! One thing I do is bring extra plastic grocery bags because I have to line my garbage can and you never know when you need an extra plastic bag! Love the bonus tips! I can tell that your cabin and mine are the ones that the cabin attendants love!!!

I’ve heard that sometimes the hanging organizers interfere with the door closing. Also, I’m only 4’11” so I wouldn’t be able to reach the top 2 rows so I’m looking at shorter organizers and plan to use magnetic hooks so I can hang it lower on the bathroom door.

Room steward could probably bring you more hangers if you really need them. Also, those pop-up hampers are very handy for dirty laundry, and they are collapsible so you can pack it flat. And then like you said, use the trash bag to pack your dirty laundry when you leave.

Huge fan of packing cubes! I'm always mega tidy and make my bed etc, cabin stewards love me ! I still tip them using your envelope method. Next cruise I'm just taking hand luggage, Never wear half of what I pack... thanks for your videos, guys, I really do enjoy them!

I only own 5 pair of shoes and that includes slippers and sandals. When business traveling, I only took 2 pair for a week away from home. One "business casual" and one to sight see in my spare time. I stopped wearing heels long ago while working in IT. Crawling under desks means you don't wear skirts and you don't bother with heels. i agree with everything you said. Keep it neat and you will save yourself a lot of time and stress.

Great video, again. Where do I find how to use/set up the binder organizer? That will help me a lot. I'm not sure on the packing cubes yet. There is half of me that wants to get used to having them. The other half is I don't need them. I did give thought to the shoe organizer for us. We travel via car often and we're used to what we have now so I decided to keep that. If I left packing to my husband, everything would be rolled or folded so small that you would know what it was. I'm the Martha Stewart of packing. Tissue paper for the shirts and blouses. Pants folded neatly. Shoes in shoe bags. Over pack, is me 100%. When we go away for 4 days. My husband, 1 backpack, with everything in it. Me, a 24 inch suitcase and matching tote bag and another bag with snacks and toiletries. This first time cruiser is going to really think about what to take. I kinda feel like the customer of Kevin. I need a small bag just for my shoes. This cruise is so different to what I'm used to when traveling. I had a small container that was, "for the cruise". The small container is now a king size bedding box from Amazon, "for the cruise". But I have in there post its, pen, pencil luggage tags, tote bag for excursions, journal, books to read, the list can go on. Thanks again guys.

Hi Frank and Kevin. I love you guys. Thank you for the always helpful info. A tip that I have is when I sail on a ship with a laundry (I know that this doesn’t pertain to you)☺️. I take a reusable plastic tote bag which can be purchased at your local grocers or drug store for $1.99. I like them because they keep their shape when open. My cruise mate and I keep ours in the close, and drop our dirty clothes in them. When ready to do laundry, I just drop in a pod and go wash. Happy Sailing. Janet Cruz

Move the trash can from wherever the steward has put it to a more accessible location. That way you are not tempted to just collect dirty tissues or whatever on a table to toss when you find it convenient. I also have a small collapsible trash can (like for a car) that I keep right on the nightstand.

My brother and I did a Hawaii cruise which he planned. I made fun of him because he had a binder with everything printed out. As we were getting ready to leave Maui for The Big Island the captain announced due to a hurricane off the Big Island we would be going to Kaua’i THREE days early! My brother handed me part of the folder and said “go on the veranda and rebook our rental car and I will rebook our helicopter ride. Hurry before we sail or they might book up!” I always carry a folder now!

Yes....Kevin bought the birthday package for me for my 2017 October 60th birthday cruise on the NCL Jade. For $45.00...I wasn't impressed (but then, I'm cheap...LOL) The cake that came with it was absolutely beautiful...but unedible ! It tasted like sawdust...and we told the cabin steward to throw it away.
