Great tips. I love sheet masks. I found some vitamin C masks at TjMaxx that are really nice. I feel like they make the lines around my eyes less noticeable. Now I'll have to try putting them in the refrigerator.

If you have trouble getting a sheet mask to stay in place there are mask 'holders' which are silicone covers. They cover the mask once it's on and hook behind the ears. Great if you need to move around whilst it settles. A massive game changer for me. My fav mask was the one from Forever21 but they aren't in my area anymore sadly. I always wonder if it should then apply night moisturisers and eye creams after wards? I usually do masks at night too.

I like them too... sometimes my daughters and I do them together which is funny to see and soothing ... do you do any type of nail polish? Your hands and nails look great natural style... is that part of your minimalist view? I just don’t know what to do with my nails anymore... gels are time consuming and pricey... but I sure need the manicure part of it... just wondering your thoughts...

I've been get gel manicures mainly because my hands are always on display in videos but I agree they are really pricey and SO time consuming. I'm really considering going natural again to save time and money but I do like the fact the gel polish keeps my nails looking good for a few weeks. So sorry I realise I'm not much help here :)

For me, i store the left over serum in a small tight container and use the serum for prepping makeup

I don't recommend moisturizer after because the whole purpose of the mask is to hydrate the skin

U can use the 2 to three times before disposal just make sure u rehydrate them with the left over product in the packaging and your face is clean

I have never used one but I am confused, what are they made of? Do they dissolve or biodegrade? Have the beauty companies conned us into using another plastic product when we shouldn't be going down the one use plastic route? I have no clue btw Thanks

That was my first thought. More beauty product waste. Its not only the mask itself but the wrapper. There are sooooo many alternatives to sheet masks and you can easily diy masks w/o chemicals that probably do more harm than good like chapsticks that dry out your skin...

Fair point! The mask I'm using in the video is made of 100% biodegradable material - not sure about the packaging though :)
