Ten years ago, I selected this place as my retirement spot - before they built the tunnel. Since then, its off my list sadly, due to mass tourism and the astonishing price hikes. Disappointed it's gone this way. I miss the old days.

Beautiful port soller. Next time you are there pop into the Eden hotel and take the lift up to the rooftop and enjoy a cocktail 🍹 stunning views and sunset 🌅 arriving there in 2 weeks. Great video as always 😎

Thank you for this video Alex, most enjoyable and good to see Puerto de Soller again. We stayed for our wedding anniversary in October 2019 at what is now the Pure Salt Hotel, I could see it behind you at the start of the video. Was an excellent place to stay then, with great views of the bay and the mountains in the distance, especially at night time from the roof top restaurant. The staff were superb too. October was a good time to visit, the whole area being not particularly busy, with very pleasant weather still. Thoroughly enjoying all your videos.

Visited here on monday after your video recommend to check it out. Looked a lovely place but took an excursion with TUI on and they only stopped for 12 mins, ridiculous Tui. Tram to Soller looked lovely again but only for 30mins stop. 😢 Would highly recommend visiting by booking yourself direct and having more free time to explore.

We visited Sa Calobra yesterday and after that we went to Port De Sóller with a boat. We will be back there some day! Amazing and breathtaking views, I fell in love with the island for sure!

Soller is absolutely beautiful.....I too don't think it is overpriced.....I imagine the upkeep of the place is costly, so I get it.....

I stayed at the Miramar around 1965 . The beach was a narrow strip and only a few boats about. The resort is unrecognisable now.

Love both Soller and Port de Soller, however, far too busy from mid June to mid September and sometimes impossible to get on the tram from the Port to Soller and if you do it’s nose to nose and stifling hot - sadly won’t be back - nice to see your video though.

Please please do NOT send more tourists on the TIB buses. They are so crowded and it is becoming more and more an issue. Local people need to travel to work or doctor appointments and cannot get on the bus because of too many tourists. The buses get filled in the Port and people in Soller cannot get on.
