My brother has been playing mtg for a while and he wanted to get me into it as well. So for christmas he got me the beginners foundations box. And for both of us a the 24 pack jump start box. We divided the 24 packs between us (opened 12 total so far) and one of the themes i opened was snakes, with aphelia. We still have another 12 packs to open hopefully with different themes. We haven't gotten any dupes so far. I thought i wouldn't like mtg at all but man am i glad i was wrong. Been an absolute blast mixing the themes and learning as i go. We've played 8 hours a day for the past 3 days and we'll probably keep playing for a while.

That's awesome, I always had a good time with the Jumptstart products as well. They have a fun randomness to them. Congrats on the pull too, Aphelia is a good card to build around for Commander in the future.

Yeah, the meta changes have made it difficult for that deck. Aggro and Burn got so much from Foundations.
