For this list, we’ll be looking at the final episodes of our favorite TV series that left us feeling satisfied, content, and full of happy tears. Since we’re revealing the plot of these episodes, a spoiler alert is now in effect. Our countdown includes “Whenever You’re Ready” from “The Good Place” (2016-20), “The Last Day” from “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (2013-21), “Always” from “Friday Night Lights” (2006-11), and more! As a follow-up to happy endings, perhaps a Top 10 of shows that had appropriate endings might be considered? The example that comes to mind is "M*A*S*H" - the war is over and everybody goes home, but not everybody lives happily ever after. Cheers....

I think the ending of Scrubs was amazing, JD, walking down the hallway, passing all the memories he's made over the years and him earing that Dr. Cox was his friend was incredible

Pam is the last voice you hear, Michael the last face you see, the building is the last shot. I don't agree with everything they did in the finale of the office but that was heartwarming. Also "All the faces" is a beautiful song.

Monk - After 7 Seasons Adrian Monk finally finds the guy that Killed Trudy, & he learns he has a Step Daughter. The only other time Monk was this Happy was when someone trapped him in a Coffin.

@@chrismulwee4911 it was sad yes but, Mr. Feney (spelled his name wrong I know) was happy in his own way that his students even the problematic ones all grew into the adults he knew they could be. So it was a bittersweet finale at that.

Honestly, Scrubs' series ending in season 8 (calling season 9 a spin-off instead of a continuation) has arguably the best ending I've ever seen. The final walk through the halls to having a vision of the future in the parking lot was just perfect to me. So many of the characters (1 off, recurring guests and regulars) seeing JD off to his new start is just heart achingly bittersweet. But I did love the Brooklyn Nine Nine ending, too. Loved the show from start to finish.

My Favorite Was Unhappily Ever After (1995 - 1999) Tiffany heads off to Harvard while Jack resurrects Mr. Floppy enjoy the rest of their lives together I miss that show

Two that you missed were Numb3rs and MASH Both of those were very satisfyingly well done. Both ended things on the right note tying up what could be and seeing the cast into another part of their lives in such a way as a viewer you could see it on your own.

The Original Charmed had the perfect finally. I also really enjoyed The Big Bang Theory, ending. My favorite endings from this list is Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Schitts Creek, Parks and Rec, The Good Place, and Frasier. And a shout out to Mash.

In my opinion, the only moving and satisfying about it was from Sheldon's speech to the closing scene. The rest of the episode was unbearable because of Sheldon being a selfish jerk to his friends.

@@dlmbs I agree, it would have been better for the finale if Sheldon acted selflessly and let his friends leave as to showcase the growth and maturity Sheldon had gain throughout the series instead of the classic Sheldon being selfish and self centered that the audience had seen multiple times throughout the series.

Better Call Saul-I know it ends with Jimmy going to prison but it was weirdly positive. He reconciles with Kim, confesses to his crimes, and seems to have the respect of the inmates. Idk I thought it was positive lol.

I would say the most happy ending for TV series finale, would have to be recently with The Owl House. I'm not going to spoil it for those have yet to watch it, but for those who have seen it. Then you know what I am referring to.

What I like most about finales is you can tell the actors aren't holding back tears or they're trying to hold them back and failing. Monika's cry in the last Friends episode is a prime example. The ending of Schitts Creek was also a good one.

Aaaahhh... now I remember why I don't watch "watch Mojo" videos anymore. According to them, the world began in 2000. I know I'm an old guy, but there were HUNDREDS of TV shows with better endings than these that came before 2000. The only legitimate one on this list is "The Office". There were 4 shows listed here that I, as a TV addict, had NEVER heard of, much less watched. Oh well. It's not my channel. If the twenty and thirty -somthings at "Watch Mojo" want to limit their audience, that's their call.

To me, the Good Place has one of the best finales. The characters' arcs all made sense, what ends up happening is bittersweet but thematically resonant with the rest of the series, and most importantly, it's fun to watch and re-watch. Currently, I'm not sure where I land on belief in an afterlife, but what they built in the finale might be my favorite depiction of it.

I thought that the finale to Orphan Black had a happy ending. Spoilers * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Helena had her kids, and finished her first draft of her book (it'll be published later); the gang has a stable antivirus, and were treating the other clones; Rachel wasn't *that* much of a pariah to the group; Felix had a lucrative art career on its way.

I loved the Smallville finale that will always have a place in my heart but also the supernatural 2 hour finale. I know most fans weren't happy about it but I enjoyed it. It was emotional seeing sam and dean in each of their final parts and then meeting each other in heaven in the end

Would be cool for the 99 to do a random new heist episode one day.......I kinda don't see how it could happen considering little details like....a set, contracts, etc, but still that'd be a nice gift to fans....However an actual spin off with Jake and Amy's son would be soooo....very bad lol. Nah, I mean, you always can turn bad concepts into good shows, but having a good idea to begin with usually helps....and trying to ride on another show's success rarely is the best way to go (well, I can think of rare examples that were goods, but overall....meh...Now I'm gonna go watch "The Cleveland Show".....lol)
