JRL 1408 take a trip to Naples and then we can talk. Not sure you can judge a country’s cuisine by a dinner at Olive Garden. Every region in Italy has its own different foods, and there are many more dishes than what you think. In my opinion saying Americans perfected is pretty unrealistic. I mean fettuccine Alfredo are literally made with “Parmesan” cheese and butter... in Italy that’s the pasta you make when your wife is out for the night cheating on you. Also by saying every region has its different foods i obviously wasn’t including Molise, since everyone knows Molise doesn’t exist.

Pizza is probably my favorite food, even though I don't eat it very often. But for me, the beauty in a pizza is being able to combine several ingredients at once and have a flavour explosion. So my fave types of pizza would be something between a Hawaiian and a fully loaded one. I LOVE pineapple on my pizza.

Pepperoni is a kind of Spanish Chorizo. Not an Italian sausage at all. Italian Americans in USA changed the name to Italian. Same ingredients as Spanish Chorizo and same way it looks too. We call it Chorizo Pizza in Spanish country due Pepperoni is Chorizo with another name.
