Only just started watching this, but I can tell you’re my kinda girl! You totally get the shipper moments! Growing up being a shipper was like an awakening for me! The fact that they never kissed or were romantic made every touch and every intimate exchange super charged!! I used to rewind (yes rewind on vhs- taped from the television) these moments over and over again! Being a teenage shipper in the 90s was awesome!

I feel like All Things was so underrated because for the first time in the series there was an actual deep dive into Scully’s emotions. Like she got cancer and they hardly explored how she felt about that but then Gillian(our queen) writes all things and we learn things about Scully we never knew. That’s why I think it’s one of my favorite episodes.

Actually I was rewatching the Pilot and I was just dying the whole time. Especially when Scully comes to Mulder’s house in nothing but underwear, a bra, and a robe, and asks Mulder to look at her back. I WAS DYING!!!! AHHHH!!

Another underrated scene is the one from S5E20 "The End", where Mulder, Fowley and Scully are in a room with Gibson Praise and he says to Mulder: "You're thinking about one of the girls you brought and she's thinking about you." or something along those lines. You can see in Scully's face that she thinks, Mulder's thinking about Fowley, while he is wondering about which of the 2 is thinking about him. It's a great scene!

There's a moment from _Sein und Zeit_, earlier in the season than _all things_, that a lot of people miss: after performing the autopsy, Scully reports to Mulder that his mother committed suicide rather than go through the end stages of a disfiguring cancer. Naturally, Mulder is very upset to hear this and Scully does her best to comfort him.. Early the next morning, Skinner comes to Apartment 42 to check on Mulder. Scully answers the door with her blouse only partly buttoned up and Mulder right behind her in his underwear -- a clear hint at what they were doing last night. Skinner reacts as he always does to displays of affection between them; he looks awkwardly down at his shoes. So there was at least one time before _all things_ -- and probably many more in seasons 6 and 7 -- when Mulder and Scully did what is, after all, the most normal thing that couples do.

One of the funny things about this show is that many of the characters they meet keep assuming they are together without even asking. I loved Ice ** the tension, their season one dynamic was something with a life of its own. Season 8 and 9 are a rollercoaster with also some powerful emotional moments like the one you choose is something we don't get to see very often (probably something similar to All thing, because Gillian proved to know how to write better than other Scully). Her internal struggles are always hidden to focus more on the case but then with just one simple line she changes everything.

Mulder gets jealous more than people realize, because it’s usually more subtle than Scully’s jealousy. Mulder’s jealousy is also way creepier, but the show never calls it out. Season 6, Scully goes out of town with a new (male) partner for a case. Mulder calls her up and just casually mentions, “Oh I hacked into his case reports and read everything that you’re doing up there” as if that’s totally okay. In the “Milagro” ep, Mulder steals the creepy fanfic guy’s mail and listens at the grate in his apartment...and that’s BEFORE he learns about the creepy fan fic. The guy had just sent Scully a necklace and talked to her.

These were all some of my favorites too! I have a theory that in small potatoes, Scully knows it's likely not Mulder, but doesn't mind pretending like it is. They've already collected all the evidence and the conclusion at that point seems obvious. Plus, with the sudden change in behavior (that aligns with the behaviors they already know about Eddie getting all those women pregnant). Id like to believe Scully knows it's Eddie and is willing to use him to play out her Mulder fantasies the same way he's trying to use her to get laid. The confusion on her face when she realized hes going to kiss her could be her thinking through the implication of her knowing it's Eddie rather than moving forward with Mulder, but deciding maybe that's ok

*Ice* oh man! That was the first ep they really touched! I totally love how Scully grabs a spoonful and just digs into the flesh of Mulder and touches like she's been dreaming about it. Such a shipper moment. My heart fucking died when I saw that. *red museum* I heard about Mulder cleaning Scully's face for weeks in advance and when the scene actually happened I screamed and bawled. Haha. *war of the copgarhahaka lalala* Love this! Love jealous Scully and how Mulder doesn't stop calling her 💙 - They need each other! *small potatoes* Oh hella yeah! Such a shipper episode! Aaahaaha *MIlagro* This episode is so important to me since I started writing fanfiction myself and yes such a good episode! How Padgett writes is so beautiful and I love his language. *All things* this ep is really clever and I love Gillian's brain 💜 She knows what fans want to see. Also, I had to but Moby's album Play just cos of this episode. *per manum* this is one of the few episodes that I really like in season 8, 9, 10 and 11. SHIPPER HEART!!!!!! s1 ep11 was also amazing! Mulder’s ex Phoebe Green was there. And he looked like he steel feels something to her. So Scully arrived in the hotel Mulder and Green stayed in to help in investigation (and keep the bitch away😂). When the fire starts in the hotel and Mulder was trying to save children who were locked in one room, but passes out. The next thing we see is Phoebe flirting with father of saved kids, and not giving a shit about Mulder, while Scully was there by his side holding oxigen mask for him (sooo sweet)

WHAT?! They CANONICALLY have sex in "All things"?! Excuse me?! I thought Scully just sorta slept over his place and she went to his bathroom to freshen up. I fucking SCREAMED when the beginning sequence played, showing Scully getting dressed in his apartment and seeing a naked Mulder in his bed (covered, but from the way his skin was exposed we can assume he's naked of course.) And I was like "THEY JUST BANGED?! WHAT?!" And watching the ending, I was like "Oh these writers were FUCKING with us, huh? Fuck them broooo." But OMG they actually had sex?! I am in utter SHOCK. I really thought the beginning was just trying to elude to that but the ending was a sorta confirmation that they DIDN'T do anything, due to the fact that Scully fell asleep and all. But omg. I guess it makes sense? Like, why would Scully be putting her clothes on in the morning, ya know? She could have had a shower, sure, but her hair wasn't wet.
