Yay! Glad you’re back! One of my favorite badass moments from Scully is from season 1 episode7 “Ghost in the Machine” where Mulder finds the room of the haunted computer and this other guy wants Mulder to put in this disc in order to shut it down, but the man suddenly reveals he’s a bad guy who wants to sabotage Mulder. Meanwhile Scully is trying to save Mulder by crawling through a vent and struggles to get away from a fan that’s about to slice her to pieces but then escapes and arrives in the computer room looking all dirty and beaten up. She still points her at the bad guy looking badass and beautiful as ever❤️

Not one of...The best Sci-Fi show ever. It was only campy when they made it that way. So well acted and their chemistry is amazing. GA and DD were so young yet they nailed it and brought these two characters to life. Great stuff

If you're going to go for a moment from Triangle, it should be Scully's rampage through the FBI building in the beginning of the episode. It's so amazingly shot, from the moment the gunmen tell her Mulder's missing, she just flies into action - doesn't grab her purse, doesn't stop for a second. Nothing is stopping her from getting the info she needs to find Mulder and includes the epic lines, "I don't care what you do or who you do." and "Save your own ass, sir. You'll save your head along with it." Add a little humor with her U-turns out of Kersh's office and when she sees Diana with Spender. Then her kissing Skinner for helping them and her walking out and jumping straight into the gunmen's van, and she's just like, "I got it." It's such a great sequence - it might be my favorite Scully moment.

I always remember a quite subtle badass moment from Tooms. Mulder and Scully go to the mall to find Toom’s nest and they open that hatch in the floor and Scully says ‘there’s only room for one’ and goes to jump in without hesitating, about to chase after the mutant who broke into her home and tried to eat her liver, but Mulder stops her and says ‘you can get the next mutant’. But the point is that she was prepared to go instead of Mulder, rather than delegate the dangerous jobs to him.

Two of my favorite badass Scully moments not in this video: 1x03 “Squeeze” when her old pal Colton ruins her and Mulder’s stakeout and she asks, “Is this what it takes to climb the ladder, Colton?” When he replies, “All the way to the top”, she answers, “And I can’t wait until you fall off and land on your ass.” Also, 6x10 “Tithonus” after the X-Files have been shut down and she’s paired with a misogynistic partner named Peyton Ritter. When Scully correctly realizes this case is an X-File and the man Peyton is arresting is not the murderer, she calls him out and he makes it clear he doesn’t care about the truth, only making an arrest, which is a huge difference between him and Mulder, who always cared about finding the truth even if he and Scully disagreed about what that was. Peyton gets mad disrespectful to Scully-a senior agent with more field experience-warning her that “You muck up my case and Kersh will hear about it? Are we clear, Dana?” Scully looks him right in the eye and says, “Scully. And we’re done with this conversation.” She gives him a look that could freeze molten lava and he wisely walks away, but when he does, she turns her entire body so that she can maintain their eye contact until he blessedly disappears around the corner. It was a very feminist moment that also made me appreciate Mulder more, as he would have never spoken to her that way. And her correcting Ritter when he calls her “Dana” underscores that only people she trusts and respects (like Mulder) are allowed to take that kind of liberty.

Great video again, thank you! And I think there is at least one more memorable badass moment, when Scully shoots Pfaster in season 7. I simply love how angry she was at that moment. In my opinion she served him right, although she later regretted it. All that thing reminded me that scene when Clarice Starling shoots Buffalo Bill... I don't know, maybe the shooting of Pfaster is not a Scully-badass moment but... it was nice.

Fantastic work. Your narration is spot on. The video editing is superb. It's Almost surreal that this Series Is able to connect so many people from so many different walks of life. We all have this in common. In a strange sort of way. It takes our Marginalized society. With everything from all the nods to the Kennedy assassination to dishonesty In Washington DC. It somehow gives us a feeling of solidarity. It makes us feel powerful. When people come together over anything they are much stronger than they would be alone. Having just been diagnosed with cancer she needed Jearse for some kind of "feeling alive" sh*t. She hadn't told Mulder yet and her confrontation with her own mortality makes her do something a level-headed Scully would never do. I felt bad for her. She and her partner love each other but, neither of them wants to take the chance of ruining their relationship so they both suffer.
