@misssunnydee2 жыл бұрын
@A Fragrant Glance LOL, I literally received Pascal Morabito Sultan Noir (on the package it says only Noir) yesterday!! I didn't try it yet because it's still 27 degrees here. I also got the Perle Royale from the same brand because it supposedly is similar to a Dior fragrance I like. I ordered a few middle Eastern fragrances but the webshop was a little weird and only sent 1 after 3.5wks of waiting. So I only have a sample of Andaleeb and sample of Fakhar. Actually, if Fakhar works good on your skin it's a perfume that smells much more expensive than it is. Non middle Eastern there are so so many. Guess Seductive Noir is a cheapie, but smells delicious and expensive. Same for Zara's Applejuice & Saffron Orange Flowers, Violet Blossom and Sublime Epoque. Lalique Amethyst is a beautiful black current/ jasmine/vanilla scent: affordable but smells elegant. Oh, and knowing you like rose: Chopard-Love. It's reminiscent of L'interdit Rouge by Givenchy in its sensuality and spicy notes, but then with layers of rose. It has like 4 types of rose and in the entire pyramid too. I'm new to rose, was always more a white flower girl. But when a rose perfume is also sensual I'm game! Maybe you'll like it. It started out more expensive but Chopard lowers prices quite fast (their Wish and Casmir perfumes smell much more expensive too, but you need to like heavier perfumes). My brain is empty now, 😆, but I'm sure there are more. I just started perfume again so I'm not that knowledgeable yet.

@@misssunnydee Thank you for taking the time to write all these beautiful recommendations dear, I appreciate it! 🤗 Love by Chopard I find it so addicting, I've smelled it few times in perfume shops and the opening omg it's so rosy and spicy I love it. Fakhar is a gorgeous white floral scent, I think it smells much more expensive than its price & very feminine. If you come by L'Extase Rose Asbolue by Nina Ricci for a decent price (cause once a fragrance gets discontinued the prices get very high) I would highly advise you to check it out, most sensual rose fragrance I've ever tried. Let me know your thoughts on Sultan Noir after you get to test it, I hope you'll enjoy it 💫 Thank you for watching ❤

@@AFragrantGlance I have only tried Lavender oud from them, but I am very curious about some of their rose/oud combos, Bidun Esam sounds magnificent, maybe I should go for it. I don't have a classic rose/oud combo in my collection, I am eyeing Musc Noble by Guerlain, it is amazing. It doesn't mention oud in the notes, but it smells like it for sure. The price tag though... I tried Sehr al Sheila by Swiss Arabian, and something is lacking - the rose is too dry. If Bidun Esam is not similar to Sehr al Sheila, I will most likely blindbuy it :) I also have Lattafa's Oud for glory, but it is more about saffron than a rose (love the scent though)
@AFragrantGlance2 жыл бұрын
Ohh Bidun Esam is a huge love for me, I think it's a gorgeous and very realistic oud rose combo that does justice to middle eastern fragrances, if you decide to try it let me know how you feel about it ❤️ From Ahmed al Maghribi there's another rose oud combo called Oud & Roses but I find Bidun Esam much better done and smells much more expensive. I haven't smelled Sehr al Sheila, for the last few months it's been out of stock, I've been so curious about it 💫🌹

Hello - I hardly ever comment on fragrance review videos - this is just my second! The first one was to Leila just a week ago and I didn't think I'd give another one anytime soon - until I came across your channel! :) I must commend you for your sheer passion and enthusiasm for the frags, it's obvious from your expressions and dialogues! You're doing this out of sheer passion and not another wannabe KZbin star who wants to have their moment on social media. I've been hooked on to middle-eastern fragrances and especially oud/woody/spicy blends that're strong and long much longer compared to Western designer brands generally. Keep up your amazing work! I'm a huge sandalwood fan, so would be grateful if you did an Arabic sandalwood frags video! Lastly if I may take the liberty - don't always wear black! :) Unless of course, it's out of respect for a particular tradition or certain religious connotation. I today got Bidun Esam and Majd Al Sultan today entirely on your recommendation - MAS first impression is definitely great, a spice bomb, and I'm surprised you didn't mention a pronounced clove note which I get early on. BE - definitely not my cup of tea! Frags evoke memories and emotions and this reminds me of some sort of cough syrup we took in India as children. I'm struggling to believe this is a rose oud, and don't get much complexity either. Okay just the first impression and you've repeatedly said give it time in your dedicated video - but I think I'll be giving this one away pretty quick. Sorry - just not my type! I've kept it for my wife, let's see what she makes of it :)

Hi Manish, thank you for taking the time to write such a beautiful comment and thank you very much for your kind words, this means a lot to me! Yes, I really am passionate about fragrances, it's one of my favourite hobbies and I love exploring and discovering all kinds of fragrances, especially middle eastern fragrances. Speaking of spice and sandalwood, did you have a chance to smell Qafiya 2 by Ajmal? It's a magnificent dark coffee fragrance mixed with cardamom, oakmoss and dark woody nuances, it's an experience type of fragrance. If you have an Ajmal store near you I would highly recommend you this one. I will keep your idea in mind for future videos 🌠 So sorry to hear Bidun Esam isn't working for you, hopefully your wife will enjoy it more. As for Majd al Sultan, I'm very happy to hear you're enjoying it, it smells so unique and luxurious for such an affordable price. PS. As always loved watching your videos. I have like 2 A4 papers full with possible buys since I found you and added a few more today 😆. You've shown me a new world of perfumes and have an interesting scent profile that isn't exactly allover the Internet. Really like that (sorry, don't know your name or I would address you properly). I would love, love, love a part 2 where you show us affordable ones that maybe ARE safe blind buys? Or at least less polarising scents. Part 2 for women, part 3 for men. And then a part 4 of affordable but very niche- like perfumes? As in: tricky to wear, interesting pyramid notes. But that one is just for fun. I'm also always interested in dupe videos. Middle Eastern houses/fragrances that dupe designer perfumes and/or designer/ niche houses that dupe Arabian perfume houses. I'm pretty sure both happen 😉. Oh, collection videos are definitely 👌. I recently watched Ksenja break hers into sections so that the videos didn't get too long. She then described each scent very short, if it was a favourite or not, if it had a certain vibe etc. Not sure how many you have or whàt you have, but you could do a similar take on her idea: her sections were cheapies, designer houses (not cheapies), dupes and celebrity perfumes. Two final ideas: 1. in which perfumes have you made a decent dent. Or just bought a 2nd, or 3rd... it shows others which perfumes are truly worth checking out. I do think you mix this in with your videos a bit, but if you're wondering one day what to do, you could do a Top 10. 2. Fragrances for the occasion. So, which one would you recommend for a wedding (guest and bride, haha), for the office, for hot summers, for cold winter, for date night with your SO, for seduction if you don't have a SO, for an outing in nature, for dining etc etc. Hope these are useful 💕.

Hi, I want to make a request. Cactus Blossom room spray from bath and body work. I’m in love with that room spray so I got the candle and body spray but they don’t smell the same. That room spray has more Middle Eastern vibe. If you could check that out and see what other Middle Eastern perfume or any other perfume are similar. Thank you.

From ahmed al maghribi which are your suggestions without oud, that are western smelling? I am thinking about getting anab, and does rose noir smell too powdery to you?
@AFragrantGlance Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! ❤️🌹 If you want something gourmand similar to Fantasy by Britney Spears then Anab is amazing, if you want a summery bowl of sweet fruits then look up Marine, if you want something fruity similar to Meliora by PDM then look up Love Story, if you want something similar to Lacoste Pour Femme by Lacoste then Leen is amazing, if you want something similar to Kirke or Erba Pura then you'll love Little Hearts, if you want something similar to Good Girl by CH but better and creamier then look up Araak. To me the powderiness in Rose Noir is very present, not too overpowering but better to test it prior if you have the chance. All of these don't smell middle eastern, they smell western like and all are soo beautiful! 🌠

Hi, I really enjoy your review, as usual...I have Sultan from Pascal Morabito and I can say I love him, Amber Oud Tobacco did not suit me, I returned him...recently I bought Ajmal Mosha`a, I think you would like...I also bought from Oriscental Dubai Rose Gold Sands, similar to Dior Homme intense, it’s easier to wear than the original, in a slightly colder weather, for me it’s too sweet-flavored now, at 30+ degrees...
@AFragrantGlance2 жыл бұрын
Hi my dear, glad to hear you love Sultan Noir 🤗 You made me curious about Mosha'a, do you find it similar to any other fragrance you've tried? Thank you for watching and for sharing your thoughts on these fragrances ❤🌹
@philomenak.22032 жыл бұрын
@@AFragrantGlance Hi, I compared some of my perfumes with Mosha`a(Royal Orchid-oil, Kamrah, Sheikh Shuyukh, Sultan Noir, Raghba)... This is comparable in intensity to Raghba, as the smell differs from all... it`s not very sensual, it`s a day perfume ...it is an oriental fragrance, but can be accepted by someone accustomed to mainstream perfumes...Sorry, I wish I had your ability to describe...❤

There's also one called Modest Une Pour Homme, personally I haven't tried that one but look it up if you want to explore fragrances from Afnan. do you think that eternia woman and modest deux have good silage? im not stingy i can use 10 sprays if it helps but most designer perfumes fade in like 1 hour. i have montale intense cafe and its a beast but for everyday use its kinda expensve
@AFragrantGlance2 жыл бұрын
Modest Deux has great sillage, to me it's completly worth it. I prefer it in the summer cause it's more cherry- vanilla & chocolate forward, while in the colder months is more patchouli forward. As for Eternia Woman, I would only recommend it if you are not sensitive to more "synthetic" smelling scents. If you don't mind them, then it's worth to me and yes, it leaves a beautiful sillage as well. Modest Deux has better performance but then again, Eternia doesn't perform that bad either, they last longer than some designer scents, I overspray both. Thank you for watching dear ❤🌹

Am I the only one who hates Madj Al Sultan? I actually enjoy the fragrance but the issue is that the black pepper note CLINGS for dear life. It’s the only note left by the next day and it’s really heavy and nauseating. It doesn’t go away until I shower or wash my clothing.
@Ropsyched2 жыл бұрын
Also I’ve had this frag for about a year and tested it out recently with the same issue, so I don’t think it’s an issue of maceration.

Hi dear, thank you for watching, I appreciate your feedback on Majd al Sultan ❤️To my nose the black pepper note is there more in the opening and then it fades away, perhaps I am more used to spices in fragrances as I wear them a lot, but I would advise you to layer it with something made around vanilla and I'm sure the pepperiness would be toned down 🌹
