Bit of a shift in the usual content here but I’ve been playing way more Bolt Action than I have anything 40K this last year as I find the game itself much more enjoyable. Don’t worry still more 40K stuff to come but I’m going to start posting a bit more varied content moving forward to cover what I’m personally passionate about! The memes also take literally days to make and I can’t keep posting only one video a month 😂

No mention of the rifle grenades for the infantry? They are pretty snacky what what I've heard? The Panzerbüchse 39 is now direct fire when firing HE.

The only thing like a Rifle Grenade I have seen has been the VB launcher for France and I think 2 other minor nations. They seem to be keeping them as like an optional rule, probably in the the compendium book

The MMG point for point is worse than an infantry squad with LMGs you get less shots and less wounds AND have the fixed keyword, the only saving grace is the FLAK rule now. But this isn't 40K you play a unit because it's cool, thematic and/or flavourful

Isn't anything open-topped pretty terrible in V3? Even small arms can pin them. Definitely keep up the BA content. Subbed.

They do have the downside of being able to be pinned by small arms and are more vulnerable to indirect fire, but they’re typically cheaper in in points to make up for it. Just got to position them a bit more carefully and use them more as glass cannons compared to enclosed armour

@@edoardopettine bloody hell - I’d go off of the app personally as the developer has been adding errata fixes so I’d be more inclined to go of that! I have asked warlord when we can expect the new FAQ earlier today and as soon as I can I’ll be sure to share

Nor am I actually, it’s in the book for definite though. I notice yesterday though that the luchs was still the old version which has since been fixed so this may need updating as well

@WoodImp the Luchs is updated in the new book. It went up 10 points but gained the Fast keyword.

@ Aye, but after the update on the app it was still the old version yesterday afternoon still - so perhaps there's a few entries which still need updating. In the book the 250/4 is an upgrade option under the 250/1 so I'd assume to find it there

I should say that the Pz III is still in the book, just not the twin coaxial variant

​@WoodImp most likely a copy and paste from 2nd edition, that had to have the 2nd coax errata'd in for 5pts added on, there are other and copy and paste errors in the books and odd points values like SS paying 2pts for Fanatics.
