I can only speak of NYU. NYU MS DS is 2 full years instead of 1.5 years. Well it is very rare for students to complete MSDS under 2 years. 32 credits or 12 classes in total. 6 core and 6 electives. For Fall 2021, 1800+ candidates applied, about 350 admitted, about 150 enrolled as cohort. Average: TOEFL 110, GRE percentile 80th(V) 90th(Q) 61st(W), GPA 3.87.
