Surprised that Ravenholm Cemetery from Half-Life 2 didn't make even an honorable mention... We Don't Go To Ravenholm is one of the most claustrophobic and hardest chapters in that game (especially if you use the gravity gun exclusively), and Gordon's final run through the graveyard was the perfect way to end an awesome chapter.

Red Dead Redemption is the greatest game i've ever played. I loved that western vibe, the game had good graphics, story, multiplayer and that zombie DLC was amazing. If any game deserves a remaster its Red Dead Redemption.

What about Medievil's Graveyard level? The Necropolis of Gallowmere took five areas to cross. Out of the crypt, into the graveyard, up the cemetery hill in and out of the hilltop mausoleum, and a return trip to the graveyard just to explore the rest of Gallowmere. It was all such spooky, gothic fun.

My Favourite is the New Sheoth Graveyard in Elder Scrolls Oblivion: Shivering Isles which has humorous epitaphs and adds a new headstone when a resident of New Sheoth dies, nice touch

I like your choices, but there are a few things I think you should've put: Lonesome manor (Epic Mickey): A spooky mansion based off of....well.....the haunted mansion. The blotling and beetleworx here are all spooky, and the amount of secrets to find is astounding. Just remember to do all the quests for Madame Leona, or you'll have to fight a slobber in an enclosed space. Vellweb (The Legend of Dragoon): Once a glorious capital of a human empire, the Vellweb is now but a reminder of a long age past. As the party travels alongside their rival Lloyd to discover the truth behind the mysterious Emperor Diaz, you see a large group of towers, which turn out to be memorials for the original seven dragoons. Noticeably, 4 towers are in nigh perfect condition, while 3 others are in ruins. It turns out these are the towers of Zieg, Rose, and Shirley, the original Red-eye, Dark, and White-Silver dragoons. 2 of them are ruined because (spoiler alert) they're still alive. the other is ruined because Shirley isn't trapped there. These towers serve as sites for battles against the other dragoons who died in battle: Syuveil (Jade), Belzac (Golden), Kanzas (Violet), and Damia (Blue-sea). I could put Mayfil in, but it's more of an underworld than a graveyard. Athkatla Graveyard (Baldur's gate II: Shadows of Amn): After your best friend and (spoiler alert!) half sister Imoen is kidnapped, you're gonna need a few helping hands to get you there. Fortunately, two groups have offered you assistance. One group is the notorious Shadow Thieves, who will sail you to where she's being held for the hefty price of 15,000 gold. The other group is the mysterious Vampires, who will help you for free, but of course they double cross you! However, their lair is in the graveyard, which just happens to be home to a hilarious event where a funeral goes horribly wrong. of course we can save them from the zombie, but it's much more fun to watch them die in this one instance.

That level in GTA 5 where Michael and Trevor had a stand off in a graveyard in North Yankton regarding this body that Trevor found in Michaels grave turns out to be one of his former heist teammate brad. And then it turns out that you now play as Michael and all these Chinese gang members ends up killing you but if they fail to they end up abducting you.

Even though it's not really iconic, the graveyard in Bully, located in old Bullworth Vale had an errie vibe. It was in a secluded area, along a dirt road and when you go there you can hear the wind howl loudy and sometimes see npcs crying at someone's headstone. Also for a weird one, in Saints Row 2, there is an open grave that is getting dug up and when you turn away for a second you will hear someone screaming and if you turn back quickly you will see them fall from the sky into the grave.

How was Silent Hill 2's graveyard after the prison not even mentioned? That easily could have been #1. The graveyard is after one of the creepiest sections in the game and if you read the headstones; there is one for Eddie, who you proceed to kill immediately after; one for Angela, who commits suicide near the end; one of Walter, the main serial killer of the Silent Hill universe; and lastly, one for James Sunderland, the main character that you are playing. To proceed, you have to jump into your own grave. If that isn't some damn good symbolism, I don't know what is.

Another good cemetery for this list would've been Mourning Woods Cemetery from Saints Row 2. Between the strange sounds you hear at night, the sky diver that plummets to his death into an empty grave, the secret underground cave, and that it's where you and Gat bury Shogo alive after him and his Ronin interupt Aisha's funeral makes this place one of the most iconic locations in Stilwater.

Eternal Sonata's Lento Cemetery. I love this game and the graphics for this area were beautiful. The playtime during this scene is challenging, you obtain some good weapons and items here and encounter a creative boss in the end, A spirit protecting its sanctuary.

I'm sorry, Mad Monster is my favorite level in Banjo. That being said it's not a graveyard. There is a graveyard in it but the level is a horror themed level not a graveyard one. That's like saying an ice level with a Christmas tree hidden in one corner of it is a Christmas themed level.

My choice is from a greatly overlooked series of games.... Shadow Hearts for the Playstation 2. The Graveyard is an important stopping point throughout the game for the main antagonist Yuri. The main reason to stop off here is to remove something called Malice which builds up when killing monsters. Malice slowly builds with each kill and starts to make subsequent monsters stronger. The second is to obtain power ups for Yuri, monsters that he can morph into which are stronger and have unique skills. Lastly it also has a large sway on which ending you get.
